Hi guys
So sorry for updating late. Nowadays I am using this sentence very much but what to do can't help it.
I wanted to remind sickforbarun that I am still waiting for her detailed comment.
And now guys I have got promotion in IF. I am a groupbie now. Don't know when but when I logged in today I noticed it.
Not boring you any more , here is next chapter.
Chapter : 8" Aren't you gonna say sorry to her?" asked Jai to Arjun who was looking at her empty desk. They have been a bit earlier today because of some work.
" I don't know yaar what to say " he replied turning around and sitting on his chair dejectedly.
" What do mean you don't know what to say. " asked Jai shockingly. " You have to say a simple sorry to her "
" It's not so simple Jay. You don't know anything Jay" he sighed. Jai was standing in front of him with a questioning look. Arjun told him each and everything right from their one side meeting at bar of the hotel to encounter in documents room. He also told him about misunderstanding her to be a two timer and misconceptions about hers and Rajveer's relation. Jai was shocked to hear this.
" What an arrogant jerk ass you are Arjun" . Hearing this Arjun glared him.
" Don't you dare to give that look to me when you are who behaving like a total jerk " spilled Jai pissed by his behaviour.
" You were behaving with her like this just because you misunderstood her to be someone who she is not and not to forget about your insecurities. Pathetic! " confronted Jai throwing his hand upward.
" But why???"
" Look Jai I don't know the answers of your any question. I admit that I was behaving like a jerk. And for that I am really guilty. It's just that there was lot of problems between you and me because of her." diverted Arjun his attention because he himself don't know the answer of his questions or better say he doesn't wanted to acknowledge the answer.
" Oh cut the crap Arjun. Problem between you and me have no relation with her. It was just because of your insecurities." replied Jay. Arjun understand where it was leading to. He doesn't wanted to worsen the situation so he tried to smartly.
" Ok I accepted all your allegations. Now help me out "
" Well mistake to tune badi Ki hai to maafi bhi todhe alag tarah se mangni hogi. How about giving her some gifts and saying sorry."
" Todha personal nahi hojayega . Aur agar usne mujhe galat samajh liya to situation aur bigar sakti hai."
" Hmmm... Point to hai. How about apologizing in front of whole office. Then she could not deny also. Waise bhi use insult tune poore office ke samne kiya tha. And moreover girls like this kind of thing." suggested Jai pointing his finger at him.
Hearing this Arjun glared at him giving him 'I will kill you look '. At once Jai fold his finger.
" No that is too much for a egoistic person like you " Jai murmured under his breath.
" I heard that "
" Ok how about giving bouquet with a sorry card." suggested Jai excitedly.
" I don't think so "
" Oh shut up. Do you have any better idea? " asked Jai. Arjun nodded negatively.
" Then let me do what I want to do. Moreover girls are big fan of flowers and chocolates.Chocolates...excellent.". Jai took out his phone and called.
" Hello 'Expressing Flowers'.
Arjun chuckled on hearing the name.
" I wanted a bouquet of 100 roses with sorry card attached in it." said Jai
" Sir do you want roses in any specific colour "
" Umm...colour. I think red will do good." Arjun was shocked to hear that. He at once snatched the phone and spoke " Sorry for the misunderstanding. Pls rewrite the order. He placed the order. He gave the address and disconnected the call.
" I am not going to propose her that you were ordering red roses." Arjun said pissed off.
" Who knows may be in future " murmured Jai under his breath with a smirk on his face face.
*******Arohi entered the office with Simmi. She settled her things and went to have coffee along with Simmi.
They were sipping the coffee when peon reached there with a bouquet in hand.
" Arohi mam ye Kisi ne aapke liye bheja hai. " She was shocked to see a bunch of white tulips wrapped beautifully with a ribbon.
" Oh ho Arohi flower shlower. Kya baat hai. Par yaar white tulips stands for apology or new beginning. Who wanted to say sorry to you. Bata na. " teased Simmi.
Arohi noticed a sorry card. She picked up and read it.
" Oh...Ho flower te sorry card. Wah ji wah. Waise Bata na kaun hai woh ." Simmi teased again.
Arohi herself was not able to understand who has sent these beautiful flower without any name card. She was examining the flowers when atonce it clicked in her mind and she shifted her gaze towards the glass cabin only to see the most sadu, arrogant and junglee person standing there looking at her unblinkingly.
He was standing there and as usual staring at her without her acknowledgement when the peon handed her the flower. He has a play of emotions on her face. At first she was shocked, then smiled caressing the flower and then realization. At that time their gaze met and his eyes spoke the unspoken seeking for forgiveness but her eyes was conveying the different story. A story of anger, hurt, slight hatred. And then the trance was broken and she threw the flowers in dustbin.
Arjun was shocked to see that , so was Simmi .
" Kyun phek dita yaar. Kinne shone flowers the." asked Simmi.
" Mujhe Kisi ke sorry Ki jarurat nahi hai. Log aapna sorry apne pass rakhe " she replied harshly looking straightly into his eyes and marched from there. This small exchange was also noticed by Jai who was passing from there.
Arjun was fuming with anger. " How dare she... " he gritted his teeth. " What does she think about herself. Is she any kind of princess. How could she show this kind of attitude to me... " .
" She could show." He was stopped by Jai. " Rab da shukar mana Ki usne tere mooh ke bajay dustbin Mein flowers pheka. She should have thrown it at your face remembering what a jerk you are."
Arjun clenched his fist in anger.
" Bahaut gussa as raha hai na soch use bhi itna gussa aya hoga " said Jai. This sentence made him calm a bit.
" Don't stop Arjun. She truly deserve a sorry. And after all, how many days she can resist your charm " winked Jai.
The realization struck him and he decided to not give up.
*******Arohi was once again sitting in the balcony and doing her daily routine. Staring the sky full of stars.
Her thought drawn to the morning event.
" Was he really sorry. Guilt was evident in his eyes. " said her heart.
" But after how he behaved with you. Do you think a sorry can replace it." Replied her brain.
" But he sent flowers and sorry card to say sorry and you were stupid to throw that beautiful flower in dustbin. What is the fault of those pretty flowers." justified her heart.
" That they were sent by him. If he really wanted to say sorry then he should have directly come to you and apologize to you. But if he would have done something like that then this would have deboost his ego. And he can't afford that " mocked her brain.
" Uff...why am I even thinking about that jerk boss of mine." She throwed her hand in frustration.
*******Each and every day when she reached office , she always found white tulips wrapped in same way with same type of sorry card on her desk. And she as usual being the stubborn threw the flowers in the dustbin and on addition to it , she deliberately used to throw the flower in the dustin near the coffee maker because she know that he watched her. It has been a week that she is continuously getting the flowers. And she was becoming soft towards it but she will not let him know that.
As she entered the document room, the door of the room got closed. She was about to scream when she felt someone closing her mouth with the palm. It was a manly hand. He turned her around so that she can face him. She was a kind of shocked to see him.
He had it enough. Now he wanna not see her disrespecting him anymore. He know that he has done a mistake and he was guilty for it. But she was treating him like a trash. Wherever he goes she at once escape from there. Whenever he tried to speak to her, she ignored him. He saw her entering documents room so he also marched toward it.
He removed his palm from his mouth and speaker " Miss Arohi I wanted to talk to you from you days but you were...
" But I don't want to talk to you " she stopped him in between and moved towards the door only to be pulled by him. He clutching her hand tightly. He jerked her so that she could look in his eyes.
" Why are you not ready to listen to me? I have been trying to talk to you since last week but you stubborn girl you are just ignoring " he said in a little high tone increasing the pressure of his hand unknowingly.
She hissed in pain and tears welled up in her eyes. Which pull him back in reality. He at once pulled his hand and murmured a sorry. She stood there rubbing her left hand with right to ease the pain.
" I am so sorry Miss Arohi. I don't wanted to hurt you again. I really am sorry for my behaviour in past. I know just saying sorry will not erase what I have done but I really and genuinely am sorry and I can assure you that this kind of behaviour will not happen again in future. I hope you will forgive me and we can start fresh. I am sorry again." With that he turn to exit but stopped at the door and turned his head and said " And don't worry about the flowers. They will not bother you anymore." Saying this he marched toward his cabin leaving a shocked Arohi in a trance which he has weaved through his eyes. She came out of the trance by ringing of her phone.
Office hours are almost over. But she was not over of her shock. She has seen guilt in his eyes. She has sensed truth in his word. So finally after long discussion between her mind and heart, she decided to end the matter. She moved towards his cabin. When she was about to enter his cabin, she heard some sounds. Though she is against eavesdropping but when it come to this man her each and every moral is thrown in gutter.
" How could you Gaurav. How can you be so insane? Are you out of your mind?" shouted Arjun angrily.
" This man can never be less rude." reminded Arohi herself. And she turned to leave when the next sentence stop her.
" You should have been with her. Agar aaj tumhari behen mujhe phone nahi karti to mujhe pata hi nahi chalta Ki tumhari maa Ki heart surgery honi hai and you are not with her."
" Sir There is so much project in line. So I thought..."
" What you thought is none of concern. I just know that it is important for you to be with her." he said angrily.
" You know Gaurav there are very few people who are lucky to have family. So don't take for granted and care for them equally" added Arjun sadly.
" And don't give yourself that much important. ACC can manage without you for some days. So better take leave and don't return untill your mom is fit. And don't worry about the expenses ACC will fund it " he said gaining his rudeself back.
Arohi was shocked to hear something deep from him. Something change in her.
" Thank you so much Sir. I would always be grateful to you. " said Gaurav generously.
" Don't paste application lines. You better go and wrap everything and hand it to someone worthy. Now move. Don't stand like a statue."
" Something can never change " said Arohi chuckling to herself. But if only she knows that something has definitely changed between this two. Something of Arjun has taken a part of her heart mind and soul.
Whole night she thought about his behaviour. How he values family. How he values his employees. And for the first time in these days she genuinely smiled on thinking about him. A pure , beautiful smile from heart for a person having such a beautiful heart. She slept waiting for a new morning, new chapter in her life.
