IMO, Ahil from QH2. he let his amnesic wife stay with her fake husband out of majoobri.

Then Asad from QH1.He traded his fiance & married her off to his brother.

Ranaji is not bad as far as majoobr heroes go. He is trying to remedy the situation.
May be I've seen more majboor heroes😆

Ummm... Rana is not majboor. Majboor means powerless. He is not powerless. Gayetri is powerless because she can't take any decision about her life. Everything that is going to happen to her life depends on Rana's will. Ranaji on the other hand have the luxury of choosing his heart's desire. Will that be a fair decision for either woman? No. But he can should he wishes to.

As far as he knows, Sulakshana lost her memory. So obviously she also forgot how to be a queen. She also doesn't remember him or their relationship. So that means she also is not in love with him. So if he didn't make her his queen and gave her rights of wife, she won't have any reason to be heartbroken. Upset, yes. But not devastated.

On the other hand, Gayetri not only proved her abilities to be a queen (he himself crowned her for it) but also is in love with him. If she was rejected, she will be heartbroken and devastated.

And since he now loves Gayetri the choice is even easier.

So it wasn't that much of a difficult choice unless Ranaji does not want to let go of either of his past or present.

So is he majboor? No. He certainly is not.

I don't think RNJ is majboor. He is atleast trying to steady things out. For once he spoke who Gayatri is instead of trying to beat around the bush. His only issue now is being fair. He is trying to be fair to both women which is what creating confusions. And both women are playing hard on his emotions also and BRM has kept a tight leash on him with her so called love.
I have seen enough arm candies and dumb heroes in TV and RNJ does not belong to that category as yet.

The problem is in this situation, you can't be fair to both. If you are fair to one, you are unfair to the other. Secondly, he has no proof that this is Sulakshana including his missing feelings. Just because she repeated a popular superstitious nonsense like butting head twice, he is now convinced she is who she says she is.

When it comes to BRM, not once he questioned that hey, before dropping that bomb, why like all well-wishers you came to me first knowing very well that I have a wife now? Like I said you can't have your cake and eat it too in this situation. But that's exactly what is happening at the cost of innocent Gayetri.

@tia I had also made clear in other post. RNJ is a king. He cant oust Sulakshana till he proves she is not Sulakshana.
And bigamy was accepted in those days. It is no big deal. Kings had more than one wife. So he can have both Sula and Gayatri as his wives. Both women will be respected. But only problem is only Sula will get the title of queen.
And that is exactly he cant talk to BRM why she told him about Sula when Gayatri is there.
We have to think from 1940 and not from the current perspective where more than one wife is illegal.
And please no poor Gayatri. Gayatri herself got into this mess because she decided to change her destiny. She wrote the letter to RNJ which landed in the hands of RM and then the deal. The so called pyaar, when faced with real life situations, it has to fight through it. It is not the bubble which is seen from distance .
We have some emotional conflicts and actions originating from those conflicts. Both Gayatri and RNJ are committing mistakes here which is taken advantage by BRM.
At this point I don't see any majboor hero or poor heroine in ETR2.

@shruthi Gayetri did not go after a married man. If she made one mistake (and a lot of woman do that) is to stay in spite of not wanting to be second wife.
And it was 1940, British era. And as per British inheritance law of that era, only one wife got the right. If the first one was the wife, second one is the mistress. It was not pre-british era when multiple wives were staple. Why do you think BRM brought back Sulakshana look alike at that particular time?

Because A. Rana, having a soft spot for Gayetri, won't try to have heirs with fake queen (I am pretty sure Jhumki also got the warning to stay sick so Rana stays away). And B. Having a first wife, second wife's children will be in the lesser category as BRM's children for the line of throne since they are legitimate and the second wife's children are not considered legitimate.

That's precisely why BRM waited until Rana had feelings before bringing back Fake queen. Otherwise, she would have done it when Rana hated Gayetri. He would have happily kicked her out of his life then if that's all she wanted. But that won't have put her children in line of throne. Only having Rana away from First wife yet still considering first wife as queen would have made it possible for her son get the throne as per British law.

And by crowning Sulakshana, Rana played into her hand.
