Ranveer Singh's parents and family
have finally come to terms with the
fact that his much-anticipated
marriage with Deepika Padukone will
not happen any day soon, if ever at
all. It is learnt that the extra
enthusiastic rishtedaars had already
started preparing for a big band
baaja baaraat soon after the release
of Bajirao Mastani next month.
However, Deepika has made it clear
that marriage with Ranveer is out of
question. Neither has she signed any
new project with him.
Oddly, she has even gone on record
to state that Ranbir Kapoor is her
best co-star and that they make a
perfect jodi.
If Ranveer and Bajirao Mastani
director Sanjay Leela Bhansali are
seething, they are not showing it, not
yet at least.
Meanwhile, Deepika is all aglow while
promoting Tamasha, which could
revive Ranbir's career. Ranveer, on
the other hand, has been dominating
the publicity of Bajirao Mastani, what
with the unveiling of a mammoth
solo poster.
Ranbir's parents Rishi Kapoor and
Neetu Singh Kapoor have been non-
committal about their son's heart,
which has been ping-ponging between
Deepika and Katrina Kaif. Grapevine
has it that Neetu was shocked when
Ranbir told her that Katrina is "very
intelligent."
In any case, as Deepika and Ranbir
are reviving their lovey dovey days,
all chances of a wedding between her
and Ranveer have gone with the
