I think it gives you visibility and more work but then sustaining is an entirely different thing

I think it did wonders for Esha Deol

Esha deol career was a dud but Dhoom did give her a boost - she gave a few more hits like No Entry, Dus... Worked in some cool movies like Kaal

she gave strong performances in Ankhaee, Darling, Just Married

She did pretty well for someone who isn't good looking and not that talented.
