If he really cared for her, he wouldnt be taking his time and not throwing the fake dog bone out of BB house. He was clearly cashing on the situation and fooling audience how caring he is! When Prince told him to throw the bone out, he kept thinking - what was there to think about? the dude didnt want this sympathy gaining plot to go away. The bone goes away then no sympathy for him or Kishwar as the task would end there according to them.
