Agent Raghav a Finite Series? Maybe

Okay so a friend sent me an article related to Agent Raghav recently. And there's something in it that mentions finite series.

So it looks like Agent Raghav will be a finite series of 52 episodes...or at least according to this one article because I searched the net and I didn't find that being said anywhere else. Though it's something that Sharad said, so maybe it's right. Just thought it would be something to share.

The part to read:

Sharad says that his character Agent Raghav uses more of his brains and less of his hands. "That makes the character interesting. Shooting action scenes is difficult on TV and it doesn't look that grand. So Raghav is more of a performance-oriented character," he says.

Sharad feels that the show and the character offer something new. "I don't like to repeat the roles I have done. It's a finite show with 52 episodes," he says.

So has he followed any particular detective while enacting the role? "No. The makers were perfectly fine with my style. They didn't force me to follow anyone (laughs)," he says.

The actor himself likes the characters of Byomkesh and Karamchand, and also loves Sherlock Holmes.

Thanks for the info, Shreya.
Even if it's 52 episodes, that's 26 weeks- half a year. That's the perfect length for this series.

Hope they end it on a high note with Raghav discovering the killer of his father. And Raghav-Trisha, of course.

I do think the show is doing well, because they always have enough ads.

^ I agree. And plus it also means there will be no unnecessary dragging of his past. It'll be brought out in due time with no OTTness.
