Contrary to reports, the star is still
excited to be a part of the film...
Yesterday reports indicated that Shahid
Kapoor had left AK vs SK after the Shaandaar
debacle. The star was left fuming after his
last film tanked at the box office and reports
suggested that he had resolved not to take up
risky films and so he has left AK vs SK .
However, now that a day has gone by we have
got some clarity on the film and Shahid's
involvement in the film
As a source close to the star mentions,
"Shahid is doing AK vs SK. He has already
shot a few days for the film and now, will be
shooting for it after his Rangoon schedule. AK
vs SK is a very different shoot and he has a
slightly different look from his other film.
Shahid is growing a beard for Rangoon , so he
wants to complete that schedule before
getting into AK vs SK, to avoid continuity
issues."
Apparently, the story of AK vs SK revolves
around a star and how he achieves his
stardom. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is
playing AK in the film while Shahid plays SK.
Shahid has also, reportedly, hired a script
specialists to analyse all the scripts that he
gets and suggest if the film will work or not.
He wasn't happy with himself as he had
thought that Shaandaar would not have worked
but took up the film because of Madhu
Mantena's pursuance. He doesn't want to
make any mistakes again, so Shahid has hired
a specialist so that he can get his career back

He is definitely not doing it. Did the same with DK and Raj's film...kept postponing it while they kept waiting.

Anurag Kashyap presence means that this movie has flop written over it.
