And when you just talk about the friends thing , this is show is based on friendship! So I guess the directors will have to give importance to it! About Maddy, I don't know about the psychology of the writer because there is somewhat fault of the them too!! The writer shouldn't have make it any bit like it is now!
About their comeback, people would just want more form them because of the same reason we are using to oppose the same thing! They want more because MaNan have returned after a long time!

This line of yours is a beautiful one but just when you see the episode, I don't even think MaNan, Manik and Nandini are craving for each other! Their acting is not at all impressive this time! You said give them time! I guess Parth was someone who just was beyond expectations, he did just good(My P.O.V)! But Niti, she was asked to behave like this shit in the episode when Manik returned! I truly believe Richa ma'am should be back! It isn't the actors fault! That's all I want to say!
