I havent watched the video yet..i guess he was speaking in Hindi.

mainstream media like HT,Indian express etc reported it like this

Talking about his Happy New Year co-star Deepika Padulone, SRK said, "I can say Deepika is a lucky charm and it's not good that both our films are coming together but I think in this period both can do well," he said. Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale and Deepika Padukone's Bajirao Mastani are set for box office clash as both are slated to hit theatres on December 18.

He also played down the Dilwale-Bajirao Mastani clash, saying, "Deepika (Padukone) has always been my lucky charm and I hope her luck rubs off on my film (Dilwale). Everyone is a friend. It's unfortunate that both the films are releasing on the same date, but I hope they do
equally well."

The above quotes sounds more like king Khan's..The "If" was bollywood lifes interpretation.

These are all talks..If the actors have performed their best..and the audience feels that they are deserving of all the love and trappings that comes with stardom...the numbers that trade baniyas put on the board makes no difference.

The whole clash has been constructed as SRK vs Deepika... The stakes are very high for both of them... with Deepika haven't signed anything and Fan/Raees being slightly offbeat-ish 😛
