Both the films will hit the theatres on December 18. However, there have been rumours for a long time about differences arising between Shah Rukh and Deepika as it was said that Deepika, who made her debut with Shah Rukh's Om Shanti Om, had wanted SRK to change the release date of Dilwale and when he had not relented, she had challenged him on a social networking site. However, the actress, who has worked with Shah Rukh in Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express and Farah Khan's Happy New Year, said, "I have a personal equation with Shah Rukh and I would never do something like that." And looks like all is well between Shah Rukh and Deepika as the superstar during his birthday meet with the media said, "If Deepika is my lucky charm, she will work for me on the 18^th.
