Karna also tore him into two portion...but js's body was reunited again as it was jointed by jara...and immediately after this attempt of karna js readily accept his defeate infront of karna and karna speared him...after that js gifted him another city named as Malini..so the whole incident they are showing is appropriate...but in Mb js got jealous on the prowess of karna in bhanumati swayamvar and challenged him in single combat...but here they are showing it was a political fight between two kings of two kingdoms anga and magadha.
