Seems like he wanted to make modha and get some glory afterwards... shabesh kya stand liya hai. The whole women /men talk wasn't needed at that time.

He himself had a bad way of talking to women of the house in past, he would usually patronize them or put them down. But suddenly he was acting all highty and mighty about it with Prince. I think he picked up wrong time to argue and on wrong argument as well. He was just trying to get footage but being a dumbass he could not even get that done properly.
