Riddhima reminds me

Of the 1960's heroine.

Like the Mala Singhas, Meena Kumaris etc. Does she really fit in this day and age? Always submissive. Shy and hesitant.

I simply cannot relate to her....its just my opinion. No offense to any Riddhima fans.

I am curious to know your views and opinions.

Actually she is not totally submissive...she does stand up for herself...stand up for what she believes is right against everyone except her sister...She does have this innocent streak to her which i think is unrealistic especially in doctor to-be's but the whole shy thing i think, is cause she has never been into guys and alll...been studying all the time..and suddenly this guy comes along who pretends to be a dude and after fighting with him, he starts giving her extra attention and stuff.. i mean that would be weird..but yes she is a bit too shy i guess...

I totally agree and I'd like to add that you do still find ppl like her in this
time.

well she is not innocent and actually quite smart to put up with a guy like armaan 😉 ...but i think she is very natural with her reactions towards armaan and is not like the other girls that armaan use to flutter around!

Oh Ridz does speak up for herself...and she wasn't shy when Armaan n her first met...she's shy now because well she hasn't been in love before and I doubt ever really interested in guys...she doesn't really have a lot experience, so she doesn't know wat to expect...its all new to her! and even I think there are still somewhat shy and reserved girls like her today...they might be on top of things in their careers n school but prob a lil behind in their personal/love lives...
