criticise her together! what kind of love & what kind of a marriage is this? 😭

Yeah... I just caught up on the episodes and just watched the latest one. Tonight's episode really reinforced what an outsider Riya is. She isn't part of "her" family at all...she is being treated like a stranger and a hostile one at that. All because she doesn't know what is actually going on. I really dislike Nimmi- really have no adjectives to say how much. What a really nasty and juvenile character. Riya's husband is not a man- he is still a child- and not the best kind either. There are probably a lot of kids out there with more sense and compassion than him. If he's not a man, he certainly ain't no ""husband"" either. What a joke. In today's episode he was more concerned about his reputation with Riya than telling her the truth about Shanti. I would have hoped he would say something along the lines of, "Baby, I know you might think me horrible for saying this- but I say it with good reason. I want you to keep an open mind, but trust me because I would never hurt you. What I have to say might be difficult to hear; I didn't want to tell you for so long because I wanted you to make up your own mind, but now things are just getting so out of hand I have no option but to tell you the truth...yada yada yada". Is that so difficult, really???? He isn't an adult, never mind a man- I don't think he hit puberty or learned how to be diplomatic or just be REAL. He's turning out to be like his mother- all worried about how he'll "look" to his wife rather than being REAL with her. And Nimmi and Preeti- what a pair of naive and gullible fools with a sprinkling of nastiness. Are they really that dense to think that Riya bought med insurance for dadi because she was trying to be "clever" or "outsmart" Shanti?! Snorting with laughter at that! How utterly moronic to presume that's why she did it!! Riya bought the papers because she gave a damn about her dadi-saas- period. That's it! There was no bizarre "outsmarting" agenda here! LOL what were those idiots going on about when they were jumping up and down with glee about Riya the "smart apple" or whatever?! Riya did it out of love- period. Just the way she would have done for her own dad or dadi-bua. Jesus! The woman doesn't know ANYTHING- so WHY would she try and be clever about it, huh? God- the script of this show is non-sensical. Anyway- so another thing I noticed that when Riya told Shivam that Shanti made such a big scene over nothing (the exact same thing she said to him when Khusiya flipped the hell out when Shivam spoke back to her) did you notice the difference in his reaction?? He was so loving and calm and able to explain it to her (albeit a crappy mediocre explanation, but still)- so...what? He couldn't speak to Riya like that before when she was talking about his mum and explain it to her properly? Buffoon.

Riya literally has no respect in that house- apart from Raghav and who knows when that will blow up. I noticed as usual Khusiya kissing Shanti's a** after everything blew up in Riya's face and Shanti made a spectacle and insinuating that Riya wanted her to die quicker. Did you see how quickly Khusiya tore Riya to bits and turned on her?! Wow! She was like "we didn't think of it from ammaji's perspective...oh my god you vicious evil cow! how dare you take medical insurance out on her...you unfeeling demon from hell!!!" THAT was the reaction. Am snorting with laughter and some significant disgust at that too. Bloody hell- Sarla might be obviously and openly vicious but Khusiya...Khusiya's stupidity and blind obedience and unconditional allegiance to Shanti is insidious in a frighteningly quiet and seemingly passive manner. Like a disease eating you up from the inside out slowly but surely- whereas Sarla just blasts you with a couple of canons. The woman just runs around the house saying "I cooked this and I cooked that and I cooked this and I cooked that, and that and this...what else Ammaji...when will Sarla come so I can feed her on my hands and knees??? Please I cant wait to serve you both. Nimmi! Don't you speak to your dadi like that! Whats wrong with you! SLAP. Riya BETAAA...now how many times have i told you we like red chillies- didn't your mother teach you how? No? She died didnt she...oh well, come on chop chop get to it- no place for modern girls here. Psst! don't forget to give your modern-girl-hard-earned-salary to dadi ok?? Oooh Raghav! GIGGLES. Don't look at me... but ok...GIGGLES...BATS EYELASHES, look at me, you are more than my children for me! Please don't be mad at me, if you do I'll melt into a puddle like the wicked witch of the west!" THAT'S IT. That's her dialogue. BLEH.

Riya is way too good for this backwards family. And still she is changing herself so drastically to be part of it. She herself is a nincompoop for doing so. I mean look where its gotten her. And Nimmi- full to the brim of contradictions! She knows Riya is being manipulated by Shanti and she knows that Roya knows nothing of whats going on but still blames her constantly for making "mistakes". Ha! WHAT mistakes?? Shes doing what's normal and reacting and responding as normal. If I didn't know my dadi was such a psycho and I only saw her nice side and if she apologised after doing something "crazy"- then yeah, Id be bloody well be fooled too. God it would be good to see Nimmi get deceived exactly as riya is being deceived and when she finds out the truth see how she would respond. Probably with a whole lot less class than Riya.

Shivam does not deserve a girl like that- he cannot take care of her emotional needs, afford her the respect she deserves or the basic right of honesty. He deserves a woman like his mother. I suppose you cant blame him for turning out that way with Khusiya as a role model.

I was away for a few days on a family trip , hence the delay in getting back to you.

Absolutely agree that no one would buy health insurance for someone to"outsmart " them.

It is obvious that Riya cares for Daadi a lot to want to look after her health.

As for Preeti & nimmi's declarations that riya 'got back' on Daadi by this .😲😆,

It looked as though the two dumb-belles have made up their minds to criticise &

hate their Bhabhi. They want to believe that Bhabi is evil & chalaak.

So, no matter what she does or does not do, they will believe so.

Anyway, they confirm their stupidity everyday- nimmi by doing/saying things

which worsen the situation for her Mom & Preeti by speaking to radio-jockeys

instead of her Dad!

If they had a quarter of the power of understanding that they want riya to have,

Preeti would overcome her stammer & Nimmi would pass her exams!

Yeah she obviously does care for daadi-saas just as she might do for her own daadi-bua- no wierd agenda there as she doesnt know any better. And yes youre right- a lot of people saying this, that Riya just cant do anything right by any of them apart from maybe Raghav. In the recent epi I watched Bunty trying to chop onions as uselessly as Riya had and Khusiya was behind her snickering and pointing at her to Nimmi. It was gross to watch, honestly, what an ignorant cow. At least now I know its not just Riya she has a problem with, its any "modern" girl who cant do things her way! Maybe Bunty and Riya could take her Sunhara for a day, shove her infront of a photocopier and snicker at her like a couple of vultures. You gotta love the prejudice and condemnation in this soap 😲

Even the whole scooter thing pis*ed me off because Khusiya "begged" Shivam not to ask Riya to apologise but then she capitulated to him and conveniently forgot to re-iterate that she didnt want her apology. All she said was "my how you've grown, keep smiling beta blah blah". When she wants someone to swear on her to obey her she has no issues making them put their hand on her head etc, she could have made shivam swear to leave Riya the hell alone. Plus- even though Khusiya said she was "also" to blame I didnt quite see her apologising to Riya when Riya apologised to her. Oh yeah- I forgot- because you're born a few years before someone that makes you their God, so no need for humility. And I am SICK of seeing people giving blessings and then getting money in return for it- maybe its symbolic or whatever- but yuk. Feels so wrong to watch Ammaji (or anyone for that matter) giving her DIL blessings and her DIL giving her cash. Excuse me if Ive insulted anyone- not intended- I dont know these customs and would keep away from them with a barge pole!
