The show seems to be be on creative deathbed and running on steroids at the moment.
It was based on the Suhani-Yuvraj-Soumya triad and wanted to throw light on issues of vanity (ugly-beautiful) and class divide (rich-poor) while resolving the love triangle. Nothing about it was path-breaking, but its direction was clear.
That core storyline ran its complete course a couple of months ago, culminating in the Suhani-Yuvraj marriage the second time around and the Soumya-Krishna reconciliation. That was the point where it should have ended.
For the show to now start picking up random themes like gender with the track of Bhawna's widowhood and remarriage and the reappearance of Yuvraj's presumably abandoned sister seems forced and unnecessary. 😕I mean yesterday's episode had lines like: "Mask pahan lo." And I wondered how the story came down to a freaking mask.😡
If the production house feels that the cast and crew don't deserve to be out of work, they can create another serial with them, instead of running this already mediocre show into the realms of the tiresome nonsensical. Listening to 'Saware' in the background seventeen times in thirty minutes is unbearable as it is.ðŸ˜
