Long before she became one of the top-paid actresses of Bollywood, Katrina Kaif had been at the top of the modelling game for several years. having walked the ramp for the prestigious London Fashion Week many a time.
It was during one such show that the tall belle attracted the attention of director Kaizad Gustad, who then went on to cast her in his movie Boom, which also featured top models like Padma Lakshmi and Madhu Sapre.
After her relocation to India and before the release of her first film, Katrina had already made her presence felt in the Indian runway, walking the ramp for top designers at events like Lakme India Fashion Week. Although Boom nosedived at the box office, it made Katrina famous.
What followed was a successful stint in the Telugu movie industry, before her ultimate return to Bollywood. Gone are the days where she used to be ridiculed for her funny accent or lack of significant roles. There isn't much to say about her acting skills even now, but having delivered hits like Raajneeti, New York, Dhoom 3, etc., Katrina evolved into one of the highest earning female leads in Bollywood.
Katrina's decade-old ramp photos reveal that she had always been a stunner, a redundant statement while referring to a model of international stature. Ten years down the road, she has changed significantly, flaunting slender pins and washboard abs ever since she took her big leap from runway to Bollywood.
