What happened when Shahid Kapoor and
Alia Bhatt met for the first time?

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, aka ShaAlia,
are easily the most loved new pair this year,
even before the release of their film,
Shaandaar. But these thick-as-thieves co-stars
didn't always think they'd be this close as
friends, the first time they met or shot
together.
When we asked Shahid and Alia to tell us their
first impression of each other, Alia remembers
that they met for the first time at
choreographer Farah Khan's party, before the
release of Student Of The Year. While Alia was
exiting the party with Karan Johar, Varun
Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, Shahid was
walking into the do. While Shahid recalls that
they said hello to each other, Alia had this to
say:
"He was warm. He was a big star and he
couldn't have known me but he was sweet. It
was like I will make the first attempt and
greet you' moment."
But when they met next at the Dharma
Productions' office, while Karan questioned
why Alia was in casual attire of a baseball
cap and a loose tee, Shahid found her cool
and in retrospect, this is what he added to the
moment:
"She had a cute vibe. She was so normal and
chilled out. Pretty but so easy on the eyes. I
knew she'd be a great actor."
Aww! Now that's a series of meet-cutes if we
ever saw one and seeing them so in sync, it's
