When did you become a fan of deepika?

I do not like Deepika as a person at all but I am absolutely crazy about Deepika the actress. I started falling in love with her in CE. After Piku happened there was no more turning back.

I first saw her in OSO and immediately became enchanted. She looked so beautiful to me - such a classy, unique, elegant beauty. Then she started dating Ranbir and for some reason I started disliking her during that period. Didn't like her performance in BAH etc, her movies became boring and I didn't like the characters she was playing. Can't remember exactly when I started liking her again. I know I watched LAK in theatres with my family and didn't feel dislike for her. Guess maybe I started warming up to her then, or at least felt neutral towards her. Then I remember when YJHD came out I was annoyed that Deeps-Ranbir were in it together. 😆 But then I watched the movie and really liked it. After that, I have enjoyed most of her movies and find her to be a very unique beauty. She has also gained my respect because I have seen her huge improvement and growth as an actress over time and I absolutely love that she is a complete package.

Many do not like her off-screen personality but I relate to her a lot. We're all human, we're all confusing creatures...I've been through similar circumstances as Deepika has, and I can understand where her emotions and "bi-polar" attitude comes from. I think she's a very emotional person who often lets her emotion get the better of her. She sometimes lets her emotions dictate her actions which can look bad because she is not thinking clearly when she does things. And now she has a PR that is trying to balance all of that with some practicality, but I think they are finding it difficult to find a good balance. I think all of this because I am the same way so a lot of what she does makes sense to me in a very weird twisted way.

P.S. Her accent doesn't bother me TBH. I'm Canadian and if accents really had to bother me then I would be bothered by ALL Indian accents in general. But I understand that we all come from different places and we should not use peoples' accents to define them or judge them. 😃
