I did not mention KKPK and PKP 2 in the name of quality movies. I was talking about the general trend of small budget movies managing to do well if WOM is good. And by the way PKP2 has garnered very decent reviews. So yes if a a small budget entertaining movie with no established faces is doing well for itself, I see that as something positive.

The list of major releases performing poorly in the last three months is huge with Brothers being the biggest casualty. The others being Bangistan, All Is Well, Phantom, Hero, Katti Batti, Calender Girls, Singh Is Bling and Jazbaa.

Happy to see Jajbaa in the list if flops 😆
