Precap in case you forgot what's happening: Asad and Zoya got married due to family pressure. They dislike each other due to what has happened in the past. Zoya tells Asad that she wants to give this relationship a chance. He agrees, and they decide to become friends.

Chapter 7

The next morning, Zoya woke up first. She was about to get off the bed when she felt his hand grasp hers in his sleep. Seeing their intertwined hands, Zoya felt something tug at her heart. She tried to slowly remove her hand but his hold was too strong. "Mr. Khan...I mean Asad," Zoya called out. He shrugged in his sleep and turned to the other side, letting her hand go free. Zoya touched her wrist where his hand was just moments ago. Why did she suddenly felt that something was wrong? Pushing her thoughts aside, she left from there. After taking a shower and changing, Zoya decided to make some breakfast for her and Asad. "But kya banaongi? Mujhe toh kuch theek se bana nahi aata," she wondered. "Omelet bana thi hoon," Zoya decided after some self-discussion. She got the necessary ingredients and started to cook. But, every time she cracked an egg, it fell to the counter instead of the pan. "Ya Allah, I can't even cook a simple omelet," Zoya said sadly. "Main help karoon?" someone said from behind her. Zoya was startled and she dropped to egg to the floor. "Crap!" Zoya said turning to face him. "I am sorry," they both said in unison. Zoya grabbed some paper towels from the counter and bend down to the floor. He rushed up to her and started to help. "Main woh breakfast banana ki kosish karahi thi," she told him. "I am sorry, mujhe cooking theek se nahi aati," Zoya clarified. She was scared that he would become angry for making the kitchen a mess. "It's ok Zoya, I know," he said. Zoya was surprised. They both stood up. "Thank you for helping me clean," she said with a smile. As she turned to leave, there was still some egg on the floor which made her lose her balance and slip. "Ahhh!" she screamed. Asad tried to hold her but slipped. They both fell to the ground with Asad on top of Zoya. His lips brushed against her cheek and she closed her eyes unable to control the emotions that seem to run wild inside her she closed her eyes. Zoya felt her heart thump against her chest. Asad sensed something inside him but seeing her uncomfortable, he tried to get up. He placed his hand on the floor to get up but that only caused him to fall back on her due to the slimy egg. "Sorry, woh yeh...," Asad mumbled and somehow managed to get up. He offered her his hand which she took and stood up. Zoya looked at her hair, "phir se nahana padega," she whined. "Tum fresh hojao, main bhi change karleta hoon," Asad said. She nodded and left from there. "Seriously Asad...what is wrong with you? What was the need to scare her?" he scolded himself and followed her to the room.

As Zoya stood in the shower, her memories flooded with a moment of the past. She had found out that there was going to be a meteor shower in Bhopal. It happened once in several years and Zoya was excited to witness it. They were at the breakfast when Najma informed everyone about the shower. "That's so cool, main jaake dekhungi," Zoya said happily. "Aap aisa kuch nahi karengi Ms. Farooqui," he firmly stated. "What? Par kyun Mr. Khan?" Zoya said upset that he was denying her. "Because I said so," Asad said. "But Mr. Khan," Zoya was about to argue when he sternly told she wasn't going and left for work. "Akdu kahike," Zoya mumbled as she ate her breakfast. That evening, when Asad returned from work, he saw his mother and sister roaming the living room tensed. "Kya hua Ammi?" Asad asked walking in. "Asad, Zoya abhi tak ghar nahi aayi hai beta. Lagtha hai woh meteor shower dekhne chali gayi," Dilshad presumed. "But maine unse kaha tha keh woh nahi jarahi hai," Asad said, getting angry. "Bhaijaan hume paata nahi hai keh woh gayi hai. Zoya mujhse pooch rahi thi keh meteor shower kaha hone wala hai toh maine baata diya, I didn't know keh woh waha chale jayengi ya shayad nahi," Najma informed. She was hoping that Zoya didn't go there. Bhaijaan will be furious, she thought worried. "Asad...please jaake dekho na. Bichari paata nahi kaha reha gayi hai, tum toh jaante ho keh garden raat mein bahut sunsaan hojaata hai," Dilshad told him. "Ammi...woh bichari nahi hai," he said getting angry. Asad didn't want to go but he had to because of his mother. When he reached the garden, there she was! Oblivious to the whole world, admiring the nightly sky. Walking up to her, "aapko saath baje ghar pauch na tha," he stated. Turning to him, she smiled. "Hey...aap? Aap bhi shower dekhne aaye hai," Zoya wondered. "Jee nahi! Main aapko leyne aaya ho," Asad said. "Leyne aaya ho matlab?" she said puzzled. "Matlab keh main aapko ghar leyne aaya ho, chaliye," he ordered. "What? But, main yaha meteor shower dekhne aayi thi," Zoya said innocently. "Ghar chaliye Ms. Farooqui!" Asad said, trying so hard to control his fury. "Dekhiye Mr. Khan, yeh taare aapko gulam toh hai nahi keh aapke kehne se asmaan se zameen par aajayenge. Aur na hi main, main nahi jaungi! Toh aapke paas doh options hai, wait kariye ya ghar chale jayiye. Main akele ghar aajaungi, main bacchi nahi hoon," Zoya said determined. "Fine! Main jaraha hoon," Asad said. She shrugged her shoulders, "Ok, bye," Zoya said and turned to look at the sky waiting for the meteor shower again.

Asad started to walk away but then recalled what his mother had said. He returned to her, "seriously, ghar chaliye, Ammi pareshaan hai," Asad said. "Aap bhi rukiye na please, meteor shower hone hi wala hai," Zoya suggested. Asad just stared at her. "Warna aap ghar chale jayiye, main aajaungi," she said. "Ms. Farooqui, yeh New York nahi India hai. Yaha aapko kabh aur kaise kohi gayab karde paata nahi chalega. Issliye bol raha hoon ghar chaliye. Aap humare ghar ki mehmaan hai, aapko itni tameez nahi hai keh aap Ammi koh baata kar aati. Kya yehi sikaya hai aapke Ammi Abu ne aapko," Asad said infuriated at her for not listening to him. "Allah miyan, what's wrong with you? Aapko mujhe kuch kehna hai toh boliye lekin itni choti si baat par mere parents koh kyun kuch bhi bol rahe hai," Zoya said hurt. "Choti si baat? Yeh aapko choti si baat lagthi hai? Aap yaha aaye hai aur kisike ghar mein ruki hai toh aapko nahi lagtha keh aapko unke ghar keh rules follow karne chahiye?" Asad said irritated. Didn't she get it? He wondered. "You know what Mr. Khan? Aapko problem yeh nahi hai keh main aapke rules follow nahi karsakthi ya ghar par phuphi pareshaan hai. Aapko mujhse personally problem hai. Aapko yeh lagtha hai keh har cheez aapke tareeke se honi chahiye, warna woh galat hai. Table par chamach seeda hona chahiye, cup saaf hona chahiye, plate center mein honi chahiye. Aur aapko toh table par raki huwi book se bhi problem hai, usse bhi aapko seeda karte rehna padtha hai. You know what Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan, aapko na aapka dimaag seeda karna chahiye phir duniya keh har cheez automatically theek hojayega," Zoya said. Asad hated that! He hated how she told him whatever came to mind without any fear. What did she think of herself? No one spoke to Asad Ahmed Khan like that! "Ms. Farooqui!" he yelled. Zoya looked at him waiting for his reply. "Aap hadse zyada badh rahi hai," Asad told her. "Oh I am so sorry Mr. Khan! I am sure keh aapke paas iska bhi kohi rule hoga, baatayiye," Zoya said sarcastically. "Ammi ghar par intezaar karahi hongi, Main yaha aapse behas karne nahi aaya hoon," Asad said pointing a finger at her. "Yeh ungli neeche kijiye Mr. Khan. And mujh par chilane ki kohi zaroorat nahi hai. Agar main chaho toh aapse zyada chila sakthi hoon," Zoya warned. She took a deep breath trying to calm herself down. "Chaliye...main sirf phuphi se wajase chal rahi hoon. Aur ha Mr. Khan, yeh aap mujhe hamesha judge karte hai, mujhe bilkul pasand nahi hai," she honestly said. "Well too bad! Can we go now?" Asad asked, not bothered. Zoya was livid! Ahhh...he was such a jerk. How could he talk to her like that? "You know what Mr. Khan...Allah kare aapko aisi ladki se pyaar ho joh jeans pehenti ho, ziddi ho, apna dimmag rakthi ho, aur aapki ek bhi baat nahi mane," she declared. "Aur Allah kare aapko aisa ladka mile joh aapko tehzeeb ki hemiyat sikaye, tameez ka matlab, aapke par kaate, aur aapka dimaag seeda kare," Asad told her. They both missed the stars that were raining down on the dark sky as they were making their lives' biggest wishes. Zoya laughed at the memory. They both didn't realize that what they prayed that day might come true. But...they were married, they didn't love each other, Zoya thought painfully.

A little while later, Asad was waiting in the kitchen when he saw her walk out of the room. Dressed in a simple white and orange chudidar with her wet hair swept to the side. His heart skipped a beat. How could someone look so ethereal? Was she always this beautiful? What has changed today that he had noticed? "Kya hua?" she asked when she caught him staring at her. "Nahi...kuch nahi. Chalo breakfast bana the hai," he told her. "Aap meri help karenge? Woh bhi cooking mein?" Zoya asked shocked. "Kyun? Tume help nahi chahiye?" he said confused. Zoya was just surprised that he wanted to help her. From where has the sun risen today? She thought. "Nahi...aisa nahi hai. I mean...you can cook?" Zoya questioned. "Yeah," he replied casually. Zoya was still amazed to learn that Asad could cook. "So...what would you like to have?" Asad asked. "Kuch bhi...I guess," Zoya said. "Ok...chalo omelet aur toast bana the hai," Asad announced. Soon, they had started cooking. Zoya had never seen this side of Asad. He was chopping onions, whipping eggs like this was so natural to him. What has happened to the Akdu Mr. Khan she knew. Asad snapped his fingers in front of her, "kaha koh gayi?" he said. "Nahi...kuch nahi. Aapko help chahiye?" Zoya offered. "Sure. Tum toast bana dohgi?" Asad asked. "Yeah sure," Zoya said. As she moved to the other counter to get the bread and toast it, his eyes drifted towards her. Memories of last night ran through his mind. Why did he share what he felt with her? What was it about her that made him open his heart out? Why couldn't he see her hurt? He hated this girl then why did she matter to him now? Was he...No! he couldn't...he shouldn't! "Yeh khabhi mat bhul na keh tum Rashid Ahmed Khan keh bete ho Asad. Tume yaad nahi keh unone Ammi koh kaisa choda," he reminded himself. The day that his father left them and the day he saw his mother break flashed in front of his eyes. He will probably hurt her just as his father hurt his mother. Zoya finished toasting the bread and turned to see him chopping the basil. He was about to cut his finger when she rushed to him and pulled his hand out. "Kya karahe hai aap? Samaal keh," she said worried. "I am fine," he stated, pulling his hand out. "Tum khalo, mujhe kuch kaam hai," Asad said as he sprinkled the basil on top and gave her the omelet. "Par Asad...," Zoya started to say but he was gone. "Inne kya hogaya?" she thought confused.

A bit later, Zoya walked into the room to see him yelling on the phone about something work related. She waited for him to finish. Once he was done, "Asad...yeh aap kehliye omelet aur toast hai," she said. "Mujhe nahi chahiye. Take this out," he firmly stated. "Aap nashta kyun nahi khana chathe? Abhi toh sabh theek tha na?" Zoya said confused. "I said get out!" he yelled. Zoya stumbled back. What was wrong with him? He was joking and laughing just moments ago. "Aapko mujhe nahi batana hai toh mat baatayiye, chali jaungi. But please, breakfast khalijiye," Zoya said as she placed the plate of food on the table and left. Asad looked at the plate of food and pumped his fist on the leather couch. Why did he always hurt her even when he had no intention to? He was furious at himself! Zoya sat on the swing outside understanding what had happened. "Mr. Khan...aise ajeeb kyun hai?" she asked herself. "Ek minute...khud hi bolte hai keh breakfast bana the hai, aur phir chodkar chale jaate hai. Mujhe pakka yakeen hai keh Asad na bachpan mein gir gaye the aur unne sir pat chot aayiye," Zoya stated angrily. "That is possible!" she heard someone say behind her. "Crap!" she mumbled to herself. This morning is turning into a disaster. He had come here to apologize, he felt bad that he had hurt her. Just last night, he had promised her to be her friend. But, coming here and hearing her mumblings, his anger had melted away. "I am sorry," they both in unison again. That made them chuckle. "Can we please forget about all this?" he asked unsure. "I will...agar aap mere saath breakfast karenge toh," Zoya replied. Asad smiled, "sounds like a deal," he said. Zoya was now more confused that she was before. One minute, he was upset and yelling. And the next, he had agreed to eat breakfast with each other. "Zoya...andar chale?" he asked. She just nodded and they walked inside.

Sometime later, Dilshad and Tanveer opened the front door and were surprised to hear laughter echoing down the hall. They walked into the kitchen to see Asad laughing about something Zoya was telling him. After they finished breakfast, Zoya started to clean up when Asad offered to help. Zoya was surprised that he was staying away from work to help her. Asad too was shocked at himself. He had spoken those words even before he could realize what he had said. Asad was about to refuse when he saw the smile creep up on her lips. He didn't have the heart to say no now. As they were cleaning the kitchen and doing dishes, Zoya started telling him about her childhood and how she used to always try to cook things. However, every time they ended in a disaster. "Aur phir ek baar maine oven off karna bhul gayi, I almost burn down the house. Ammi ki bahut dart paadi, aur phir unone mujhe kitchen se hi ban kardiya other than to steal cookies and chocolates of course," she explained seriously. Asad, for some reason, couldn't believe that he was chuckling. That too on her jokes, with her. Dilshad too was stunned to see her son...firstly in the kitchen then to see him laughing with Zoya. Was she in her house? Dilshad thought. She silently thanked Allah, this is why she had left them alone. They obviously needed the privacy to sort out their issues. Tanveer on the other hand was fuming. What the hell has happened in one night? She had to act fast! She had to do something if not all her plans would go to waste. And, she wouldn't let that happen. "Jammy!" Tanveer spoke up interrupting the couple. Asad and Zoya realized the company they had and stepped away from each other. "Ammi...aap aagayi?" Asad asked. "Ha Asad, kyun? Tume disturb kardiya?" Dilshad teased. Both Asad and Zoya felt the color fill her cheeks. "Aap tak gayi hongi, rest kijiye. Main office chalta hoon," Asad said and quickly rushed out of there. Dilshad chuckled. "Aisa kya hogaya Zoya? Mera matlab hai keh Asad kis baat par hass raha tha?" she questioned. "Kuch nahi Ammi, aap kehliye coffee ya breakfast banao?" Zoya said, trying to change the topic. "Nahi beta, main theek hoon," Dilshad said. "Main abhi aayi," Zoya told her and escaped out of there. "Shukur hai Allah ka," Dilshad said happily and left for her room. Tanveer felt like a fire was burning inside her. Here she was trying to prove to Asad and Dilshad that she was better for Asad than this Zoya. "Yeh Zoya ne aisa kya kardiya keh ek raat mein Asad itna badal gaya. Yeh Zoya maine jitna soocha tha usse kahi zyada shatir hai, mujhe kuch karna padega," Tanveer thought to herself.

The whole day, Zoya felt something flutter inside her. She couldn't believe that Asad has been nice to her. She felt tears stung her beautiful orbs as she sat in the garden. "Aap jaisi batameez ladki maine aaj tak nahi dekha...aap iss ghar se chali kyun nahi jaati...Ms. Farooqui, aap Najma se door rahe toh accha hoga, main nahi chatha keh woh bhi aap ki taara khudgarz aur jhoot bole...mujhe aap jaise khudgarz insaano se bahut naf...," these are the words that she has ever heard from him. Today, she felt like someone, a person that could be spoken to nicely. Zoya, don't take all this so seriously. Asad ne tumse acche se baat kya karliya...woh toh Mr. Khan koh aaj unka proper breakfast mil gaya toh unka mood accha tha. Kya paata keh shaam koh unka mood kaise hoga? Gaye toh hai cute se cuddly bear bankar, kya paata shaam koh gayal sher bankar wapaas aaye, she said to herself. Just then, her phone rang. "Tum kya honeymoon par jaakar bhi mujhe miss karahi ho?" Zoya teased her friend. "Please Zoya, main toh bas aisi hi phone karahi thi. Aur waise bhi, Imran bahar gaye hai kuch kaam se," Najma replied. "I see...issliye hi toh tum mujhe phone karahi ho?" Zoya said. "Stop it Zoya! Kaise hai aap? Aur bhaijaan aur Ammi?" Najma asked. "Sabh theek hai Najma, aaj main bahut khush hoon," Zoya said excitedly. "Accha...kya hua? Bhaijaan ne propose kardiya?" Najma joked. "Shut up Najma! Tum bhi na, kuch bhi bolti hoon," Zoya scolded. "Ok sorry, aabh batao?" she asked curiously. "I think tumare bhaijaan aur mera saath truce hogaya hai," Zoya said, still kind of unsure. "Think? Hua hai ya nahi?" Najma said. "Paata nahi! I mean I think hua hai," Zoya told her. "Zoya, aap theek toh haina?" Najma wondered. "You know what? I am fine. Tum apna honeymoon enjoy karo. Jab tum wapaas aaogi toh main tume baataungi," she replied. "Theek hai, I hope keh jab tak main wapaas aao...you two fall in love," Najma said dreamily. Zoya felt her heart skip a beat and her face turn red, hearing the world love. "Bye Najma...enjoy your honeymoon," Zoya said, stressing on the last word making Najma giggle.

That evening, Zoya was trying to cook as she told Dilshad who was having a headache to rest. Zoya had proudly told Dilshad that she will take care of all the food for dinner. "Kya banao?" she wondered. "Ammi se koh bol diya keh main dinner banaungi. Ek kaam karti hoon, internet par recipes doond thi hoon," Zoya told herself. She went to their room and quickly got her tablet. After some net surfing, Zoya found a few recipes that she thought was possible. As she started cutting, chopping, and cleaning, she saw Tanveer walk in. "Zoya...tum aur cooking?" Tanveer said, acting surprised. "Ha Tanveer, yeh mera ghar hai toh meri responsibility haina keh main sabh ka khayal rako," Zoya replied with a smile. "Yeh ghar sirf thode din kehliye tumara hai Zoya...enjoy karlo phir yeh sabh toh mera hai," Tanveer thought with a wicked smile. "Tume kuch chahiye?" Zoya asked. "Main sooch rahi thi keh tum rest karlo, main yeh sabh dekh lungi," Tanveer offered. "Nahi Tanveer, tum travel karke aayi ho. Tum rest karlo," Zoya said. "Sure?" Tanveer questioned. "Yeah," Zoya said as she put the pan on the stove to cook. Zoya started doing what she needed to and Tanveer left not knowing what to do. By carefully following the recipes, Zoya had made rice, dal, chicken, and rotis. After she finished, Zoya looked around the kitchen and realized what a mess she has created. "Ya Allah miyan...yeh sabh saaf karna padega, warna Mr. Khan mujhe zinda khalenge," she joked to herself. Zoya had to put in more effort to clean than to actually cook. Once she was finished, Zoya decided to take a shower and change.

After taking a hot bath, Zoya felt a lot better. She wrapped the towel around herself and sighed. "Way to leave your clothes in the closet," she scolded. Zoya wiped her hair and brushed the damp tresses. She walked out and started looking through the closet for some clothes. Asad had returned from work and was on a phone call with his manager. Zoya grabbed a jeans and top and turned when the room door opened and she saw her husband walk in speaking on the phone. Zoya gasped as the clothes fell to the ground. Asad felt the phone slip out of his hands and fall to the ground. His heart stopped seeing his wife standing there with just a towel around her. She looked breathtaking! His eyes wandered over her slender legs and up to her curves, the way her hair ran over her shoulders and bust. He had never seen someone so beautiful. Zoya felt like her body was on fire. His piercing gaze was running a thunder through her spine. His steps moved towards her on their own accord. Zoya traced her feet back for each step he took forward. "Yeh Kya karahe hai? Allah miyan please main disappear hojao. Anywhere but here!" she silently prayed. As her back hit the cupboard, "ouch," she said. And that broke Asad's trance. He stopped shocked at what he was about to do. Zoya quickly grabbed her clothes from the ground and ran inside the bathroom. She clutched her chest hoping to calm her palpating heart. "Ek aur second waha hoti toh paata nahi kya hojata," Zoya said worried. Asad couldn't believe he has just done that. "Yeh mujhe kya horaha hai? kissi ladki keh saath main aise kaise karsaktha ho? Zoya mere baare mein kya sooch rahi hogi," Asad cursed. This was wrong! He quickly changed and left the room before she came out. At the dining table, Asad sat in his seat waiting for his wife. "Hello Jammy," Tanveer said, joining him. "Hi," Asad stated. "Kya hua? Tum khana nahi khaoge?" she asked concerned. "Actually, main Zoya ka wait karaha tha," Asad told her. "Oh...waise Jammy hum kuch kahe," Tanveer said. "Ha bolo Tanveer," he probed. "Hum bas yeh bol na chathe the keh aaj ka khana jaisa bhi hai tum chup chap khalo ok?" Tanveer explained. "Kyun? Kya hua hai?" Asad replied puzzled. "Aaj na khana Zoya ne akele banaya hai. Woh bahut dar rahi thi keh kahi tum kuch bolna doh, I mean tume pasand aayega keh nahi. Agar tum kuch aisa waisa kahoge toh kahi Zoya tumse aur...," Tanveer became hesitant. "Mujhse aur kya?" he wanted to know. "Tumse kahi aur na dar jaaye," she told him. "Dar jaaye? Zoya ne kuch kaha," Asad said. "Nahi nahi...I mean woh bas aise hi bol rahi thi. You know apni dil ki baat as a friend. Zoya koh mat bolna keh maine tume kuch bola hai, please," Tanveer requested. Asad was upset. Did Zoya tell Tanveer that she was scared of him? He was hoping that whatever happened with them last night meant something. He felt something with her. Did he just imagine that connection with her? Or was it because what happened when he returned from work? But, that was just an accident. He didn't mean to walk up on her. "Jammy...kya hua?" Tanveer asked, pretending to be worried. "Kuch nahi...Zoya kaha hai?" he questioned. "Woh toh upar hai Khala koh shayad khana dehne gayi hai," Tanveer said. "Ammi theek hai?" He questioned concerned. "Ha...I think traveling ki waja se unke sir mein dard horaha tha," Tanveer said. "Main dekhe aata hoon," Asad said and he was about to stand up when Zoya returned. "Ammi theek hai?" Asad said. "Ha...maine unne dawayi dekhar sohla diya hai," Zoya shuddered. She couldn't believe it, she has never been awkward with anyone before. Now, each time she saw him, the incident in the room got her heart racing. Asad felt his blood with rage. Now, she couldn't even talk to him properly.

"Jammy...Khana khale?" Tanveer said, breaking the couple's moment. Zoya, for once, was glad that Tanveer had interrupted them. They walked to the table and took a seat. Zoya started to serve Asad. She was kind of nervous as this is the first time she had cooked without Dilshad to guide her. Asad took a bite and almost spit out the food. There was so much salt in it that he couldn't tolerate it. "Kya hua Asad?" Zoya asked. "Yeh khana tumne banaya hai?" he asked. "Ha...par hua kya?" Zoya said puzzled. "Kuch nahi, let's eat," Asad stated. Tanveer was stunned! Asad was actually going to eat this, she thought. She had started the fire hoping that the bad food would ignite it. What is wrong with Asad? Yeh react kyun nahi karaha? Tanveer thought. Zoya just nodded and served herself. "Tanveer...tum kuch nahi logi?" Zoya said. "Woh...woh mujhe bhook nahi hai. Lagtha hai meri tabeyat bhi kuch karaab horahi hai," Tanveer said, not wanting to taste the disgusting food. When Zoya had gone to take a shower, Tanveer sneaked into the kitchen and mixed an excessive amount of salt to the food. She had tasted the food and it was surprisingly decent. Asad was already growing close to Zoya, and if he likes her food too then she was losing the battle she was fighting. And that was not going to happen. "Par kuch toh khalo, main kuch aur bana doon?" Zoya offered. "No, thanks," Tanveer said and left from there. Asad could see Zoya grow stiff as soon as Tanveer left. Now, she couldn't even be alone with him, he thought. Zoya composed herself and took a bite of rice. She spit it out immediately and started coughing. "This is disgusting, aap yeh khana kyun kharahe hai?" Zoya asked shocked. "Kya hua?" Asad said, pretending to be confused. "Mr. Khan...are you crazy? Aapko ho kya gaya? Why are you acting so weird?" Zoya said getting angry for the fact that he was lying. "I am acting weird? Aur tum? Tum kya karahi ho?" Asad yelled, pushing the plate away and standing up. "Maine kya kiya hai?" Zoya said. "Really Zoya? Toh andar joh kamre mein hua woh kya tha?" Asad said moving towards her. "Andar kamre mein aap weirdly behave karahe the, infact subhe se aap ajeeb behave karahe hai," she told him. "Tumari problem kya hai huh? When I am rude, you have a problem. When I am nice, you have a problem. Choose Zoya...kya chathi ho tum?" Asad yelled. Zoya stepped back in confusion and this only made his angrier. Asad thought that she was scared of him. "Tum mujhse dard thi kyun ho? Kya lagtha hai tume keh I can hurt you? Is that what you are afaird of?" Asad said as he grabbed her and pinned her to the wall. "Asad...aap," she struggled. "Jawaab doh Zoya...kya tum mujhse darti ho?" he asked again. Asad had lost himself to the rage inside him. He didn't know what he was doing. The pain of knowing she believed he could hurt her was breaking him from within. "Mujhe chodiye, please," Zoya pleaded as she tried to push him away from her. He held her wrist and pushed her firmer against the wall. Zoya could feel his breath touch her lips. "Agar tume mujhpar baroosa hi nahi hai toh yeh dosti ka natak kyun karahi thi tum mere saath? You know this minute, main tumare saath kuch bhi karsaktha hoon lekin karunga nahi. Meri Ammi ne meri parvaarish aisi nahi ki hai," Asad said furiously as he let her go. "Asad...aap yeh kya bol rahe hai?" Zoya said as tears rolled down her cheeks. "Forget it Zoya, it's not worth it! This is not worth it!" Asad firmly stated and walked out of there. Zoya stood there dumbfounded. She fell to the ground as tears rolled down her face as she sat there caressing the blood on her wrist from the broken bangle. "Kya mera rishta issi taara hai?" Zoya wondered holding the broken bangle in her hand, as she cried looking down the hall where her husband had just gone.
