Taalash (Kareena was the surprise element)
The dirty picture (Vidya was great)
Chennai Express (I thought its BS but surprisingly enjoyed it a lot)

OMG - didn't know what to expect, just clicked to watch it and it was really good.

Hasee Toh Phasee - Again wasn't sure about this but loved the father and daughter parts

Thupakki - sometimes I find south indian films a bit hard to process in terms of how the plot can become disconnected but I loved how tight the plot was (ignoring kajal's parts).

English Vinglish - definitely a surprise, I loved what the film was about and sridevi's character

I have more but for now my mind has drawn a blank after these. These definitely were surprises for me and I don't watch many bollywood films.

Ekk Main aur ekk Tu ..Thought it is a typical bollywood rom com and nothing new in it .But it turned out to be a good film with a great ending
