She is a great actress but somehow looks too old for Ranveer. Why didn't they take Anushka or Sonakshi for this role?

Especially bcoz those days the wife was def not older den husband!

I think she has been miscast though she is a brilliant actress, but somehow she will be sidelined by Deepika's beauty and DeepVeer chemistry.

A demuire Anushka would have suited the role more

I think Pc suits tge role, Anushka would not have looked the part..

Only if SLB had connected with the Casting Directors in the forum... His first casting was the best: Salman - Ash - Rani. 👍🏼

i felt the same, PC is looking bit old in the kashibi get up, Deepika isn't even lip-syncing the song she is singing to woo bajirao😲😆 & now my whole expectations r from ranveer!

She is supposed to look old and unattractive. There is a reason why Bajirao instantly falls in love with the fiesty, prettier warrior princess Mastani. Kashi's role required a good actress not a looker.

If beauty of Aishwariya can't change the fate of jazbaa then I am sure make up beauty padukone can't sideline PC if their screen space is same. PC can kick 1000 beauty like deepu with her acting.

How old is ranveer? 16 years? PC doesn't look older than him from any angle.

Just pray that this kachumbar BM should not get sidelined by dilwale.

^^Kiara, Deepika is perfect for Mastani and will carry the film on her shoulders. Ranveer is definitely not a box office pull, neither is Priyanka.

They could not make DDD work despite all the ingredients leave alone BM

Now that is true.

Ranveer and PC have no box office pull but opening of piku was just 5 crore. It was WOM which helped the film and opening of merry Kim was 7 crore.

Now decide who is bigger star?

Aishwariya's beauty cannot hide her cringe worthy acting. Deepika is an actress first and then a looker. Therein lies d difference. She is a complete package.

Also, PC is older den Ranveer in real life as well. She in fact looked miscast with Ranbir who uis same age in Ajnaana Anjaani. She looks older den her age which is reportedly 33.

respect your opinion but have you seen PC in the promos etc..the woman is f**king brilliant..i see no one else pulling it off

anushka for starters looks too chinese post the surgery to fit in the looks part and if she was even 10% the actor PC is..i still would have agreed partially..

PC is just the right choice and since ranveer himself is looking mature..not his boyish self..i feel they look the same age nonetheless
