Also, PC is older den Ranveer in real life as well. She in fact looked miscast with Ranbir who uis same age in Ajnaana Anjaani. She looks older den her age which is reportedly 33.

What piece of nonsense!! Ash is 10 times better than actress dp can be. Go watch Raincoat, Provoked, Guzaarish, Kandukondein to name a few. She doesn't stick to party girl-modern girl roles unlike dp.

anushka for starters looks too chinese post the surgery to fit in the looks part and if she was even 10% the actor PC is..i still would have agreed partially..

PC is just the right choice and since ranveer himself is looking mature..not his boyish self..i feel they look the same age nonetheless

she is so melodramatic and goes OTT..she can never be real or subtle like deepika was in piku

also she has the same body language..whether she is paro or sunehri..she would still giggle in that annoying way..talk about getting in the skin of your character NOT

Fair enough! Devdas was a tragic musical... so melodrama was an essential ingredient there. To see how she can do subtle you must watch her in Kandukondein, Jodhaa, Guru, Chokher Bali and Guzaarish. And she totally got into the skin of the characters in Provoked and Raincoat, I saw no traces of Ash the star there.

Well..look wise Sonakshi wud be a better choice. She has the classic indian features and AMAZING chemistry with Ranveer, BUT Kashibai seems like a layered n complex character, which requires an experienced actress. Rani was the 1st choice for it, so one can imagine how diff the role is and PC definitely has the caliber. In fact she already nailed it with her expressions in trailer/promo 👍🏼

PC is beautiful too, I don't see why Deepika fans have to underrate other actresses' beauty all the time!
