Ranaji boasts his class, status, education, royal grace, etiquette...even had called Gayu disgusting when she coughed on dining table..

then how come such a highly educated man not read the Sanskrit epic Mrichhakatik - story of Charudatta and Vasantsena?
When he was reading it out to Gayu, it seemed he didn't know anything abt it..
strange, isn't it?

Its alright i don't have clue what it is either 😆 and I was kind of interested in his bhashan actually think we have the same taste in literature me and rana 🤔

Itsnnot about education its about interest its not school textbook where it is mandatory to read and learn its a type of novel which you read when you find interesting...

This post made no sense. What is his education do with reading a story or not? Reading a story made u high class or educated? What a wired logic. Even I never heard about them leave reading so what?

Well Ranaji grew up getting western style education because of her mother... So he never read this story.. Simple...

I too have no idea about Mrichhakatika story...however, according to my grandmother, in her days most of the young ladies loved the story...the guys tended to shy away as reading 'love story' was considered as not macho.

I believe in those times, Sanskrit was compulsory subject and this was a very famous tale.
