EK RAJKUMARI KI VIDAMBANA: KUNWARI YA SUHAGAN

(A Princess' Confusion: Married or Unmarried)

Friends,

I have been reader in IF for about a year & a half. After reading inspiring stories in GF by talent writers Muskan, Avi, Babbie, Sonia KN, Sweta, Rashmi & many more I've been motivated. I have never written anything before & neither I'm good in writing hot & steamy scenes. However, this is my first try & I hope I can complete this story. At this stage I don't know if it will be SS or FF.

Please bear with me as I'm not an adventerous writer so it will be a usual romantic story. If you feel my writing looks very similar to any other writer, please let me know.

PROLOGUE

Raj Purohit(pandit) chanted"Dulhe ko bulaiye!"(call bridegroom) A 14yr. boy was brought by his grandfather & made to sit in the mandap. Purohit chanted mantras & performed some rituals. A while later Raj Purohit chanted"Kanya ko bulaiye!"(call the bride) A 4yr. old girl dressed in bridal finery is brought & made to sit near the boy. The 4 yr old girl is busy in playing with her bangles & bridal finery; & boy in his video game. Both are doing whatever elders asked them while playing. A little while later, panditji announced " aaj se aap pati patni hain!"(now you are husband & wife)

Two old friends hugged each other said "aaj se humari dosti rishtedaari main badal gai!"(today our relation has changed from friendship to family)

14years has passed and she is still trying to find her husband. She has no one whom she can call as her own. Her house burn't 2yrs. back along with her whole family. Single family member remaining is her chacha(paternal uncle) who is after her blood for sake of property & title. She is RAJKUMARI GEETANJALI SINGHANIA, heiress to Kingdom of Rajgarh!

RAJMATA SAVITRI DEVI KHURANA

Maan, Riddhima & Vickey's dadimaa. Loves her three Grandchildren. Heading Khurana Foundation.

MAHARAJ RAJVEER SINGH KHURANA

Maan, Riddhima & Vickey's father. Chairman of Khurana group of industries i.e. Constructions, Interiors, Hospital etc. Appears strict but has a heart of gold.

YUVRAJ MAAN SINGH KHURANA :

28yr. Old. Eldest son & heir of Khuranas. CEO of Khurana Constructions(MD of Khurana construction as well), Khurana Hospitals & Khurana Interiors. He has looks to die for! Tall, handsome & well toned body with 8pack abs. Intelligent, arrogant, ruthless(with enemies), tough employer. Hates lies, gossip & deceit. Very loving & soft towards his family. Always supports truth even if its spoken by people who are poor. Therefore, loved by all in his kingdom. Married but unaware.

KUNWAR VIKRANT SINGH KHURANA(Vicky)

25yrs old. MD of Khurana Interiors. Fun- loving, jovial & a prankstar. Work is his passion like his elder brother, MSK. Very relaxed regarding his work.

RAJKUMARI RIDDHIMA KHURANA(Ridz)

20yrs. Old. Studying medicine. Wants to provide better medical facilities to people in her kingdom. Currently doing internship in Khurana hospitals!

MEERA KHANNA : 24yrs. Old.Daughter of close friend of Maharaja Rajveer. Parents died when she was 5yrs.old, hence lives with Khuranas. Maan treats her like his sister Ridz. Senior architect in Khurana Construction. Loves Vicky since childhood but Vicky is unaware of her love.

MUNSHIJI : Loyal accountant from time of Maan's grandfather. Very humble & honest.

SASHA : 23yrs. Old. Munshiji's daughter. Works as a junior architect under Meera. Aim is to become a royalty by marrying one of the Khurana brothers.

Last but not least ADITYA SRIVASTAV (ADI): Maan's right hand man. Recieving end of Maan's temper maximum. Maan trust him the most professionally & personally.

SINGHANIAS(royal family from Rajgarh)

RAJKUMARI GEETANJALI SINGHANIA(Geet/Gudiya) :

18yr. Old. She is true definition of beauty & grace. Trained classical dancer & singer. But does not perform on stage due to security reasons. "Ladli" of her family but lost them 2yrs. back. Now all alone & living in Khurana Foundation(due to fear of her life). Her chacha, Jaichand Singhania wants to kill her for property & royal title! Married but unaware of her husband's where abouts.

Geet's brothers presently missing hence presumed dead -

DIWAN MANCHANDA : Loyal political advisor Geet's father. Very jovial, full of life & honest. Taken Geet under his protection after death of her family. He is the one who adviced her to come to Delhi & stay in KF.

PINKY MANCHANDA : Daughter of Manchandaji. Very jovial, full of life & loves eating. Works as receptionist in KC. Doesn't know Geet's true identity.

Rest office staff same as GHSP.

CHAPTER 1

Two years ago she had moved to Delhi & started living in KF. Due to benevolence of Rajmata Savitri Devi(although she has not met Savitri Deviji) started working part-time in evenings as a trainee architect in KC. Day was spent in going for 1st year B.Arch. classes. Everything has changed her name, status & home. She is thankful to her mother for making her indepent despite of being a royalty. She can cook & feed herself & by learning self-defence can protect herself. But her mother could not teach her to fight her loneliness.

A man of 28yrs. dressed in formal attire is having breakfast with his family. He is YUVRAJ MAAN SINGH KHURANA. He is talking on phone in stern tone.

Maan " Dadima mera nashta lagvaye, mujhe jaldi jana hai." (Dadima please get my breakfast served,I have to leave early)

Dadimaa " Yeh kya Maan. Abhi to 7 baje hain?" (What is this Maan its only 7am?)

Maan "Office mein clients 8 baje annewale hain, Adi ka phone tha." (Adi called, clients are coming at 8am)

Rajveer " Itni jaldi office toh 9 baje shuru hota hai" (so early, office starts at 9am).

Maan "Clients ke ghar family emergency aa gai hai aur unhe London jana hai dophar ke 1baje" (clients have a sudden family emergency & have to leave by afternoon 1pm flight for London).

Vicky comes to the table in a dishevelled state. Yawning & unable to stand straight due to last night his friend's bachelor party's hangover. He knows he won't get any breakfast after 8:30am,so he came without taking a bath for breakfast.

Rajveer sacarsically "Ho gai sahebzade ki subah?(the prince has finally woken up) Vickey why do you drink so much if u can't handle it? When will you become responsible?"

Vicky sat hesitantly near Meera. She slid a glass of lime juice towards Vicky.

Vicky "Thanx!"

Meera gave a shy & adoring smile to Vicky. Dadima & Riddhima sighed at Vicky's ignorance towards Meera's love for him.

Maan said sternly" Vicky you are MD of Khurana Interiors, but don't even attend office for a week in a month!"

Rajveer " I'm giving you final warning Vicky, if I don't find any profits in Khurana Interiors accounts by end of this month, I'm shutting down Khurana Interiors. Maan & I have enough on our plate to handle & can't look into Khurana Interiors."

Vicky's hangover diasappears on hearing his father's ultimatum as Khurana Interiors is his passion. Meera feels sad hearing everyone criticizing & pulling up Vicky but knows that they are right.

Finally Dadima spoke seeing tension arising between the three males on the dining table" Bas, yeh breakfast table hai na ki aap dono ka boardroom. Rajveer aapne Vicky ko aapni iccha bata di hai, ab chain se (peacefully) nashta kijiye!" (This is breakfast table & not your boardroom. Rajveer you have told Vicky your wish so now peacefully have breakfast)

Maan" Mera nashta ho gaya. Meera drive with me to office as I have upcoming projects designs to discuss with you. Namaste Dadima & Dad"(I'm done. Meera come with me so we can discuss project designs on the way)

Meera: Ji bhai!"

Rajveer "Main bhi Chairman's office ke liye nikal raha hoon. Ridz I'll drop you to your college as it is on the way!"(I'll also leave for office)

Dadima " Rajveer beta kya Singhania's ke bare mein kuch pata chala. Do saal ho gaye us hadse ko?"(Rajveer have you found anything about Singhanias after the tragedy that happened 2yrs. back?)

Rajveer,Maan, Ridz & Meera stopped & turned on hearing Savitri Devi's question.

Rajveer "Nahi maa zyada nahin. Sirf ke Singhania khandan ka ek sadsya Raja Jaichand Singhania bacche hain." (No not much. Only one member is left Raja Jaichand Singhania).

Everyone left for their respective place of work. Hearing Rajveer's comment left a worried disappointed & defeated Savitri Devi behind.

Congrats n welcome as writer. Prolong is intresting n having doubts to be cleared with story proceeds. Maan at 14 n geet at 4 git married n best friends became samdhi. After 14 years geet lost her parents n searching for her husband. If geet parents n maan parents r best fruends then y they didnt meet in these years what happen waiting.
