Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra were in
the race along with Arjun Kapoor to host
Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 . Yes, you heard that right!
Shahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun
Kapoor are three Bollywood's young stars who
marked their first time on sall screen this
year. While Sonakshi had a hit stint on Indian
Idol Junior , the Shaandaar hero was his
charming self on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded.
Arjun is yet to showcase his daring side on
Khatron Ke Khiladi, but did you know that this
year it could also have been the debut of
Student Of The Year stars.
BollywoodLife has gathered from sources that
the makers of KKK 7 wanted to rope in Varun
for their show. Varun's image and popularity
both would be tailor made for this season. In
fact it would have been a win-win situation
had they managed to rope in Varun
considering that he's one of the front runners
for the gen next Superstar title. However, busy
schedule and lack of dates was a dampener. A
source also revealed, "Apart from Varun,
Sidharth Malhotra was also considered. But
somehow the makers felt that Arjun would be
better suited for this show."
And no finally neither Varun nor Sidharth
made it as the host of Khatron Ke Khiladi . In
fact it is also said that the makers wanted to
have Rohit Shetty back as their host, however
with Dilwale set to release in December this
year, Shetty barely had the time for television.
Finally Arjun they felt went with the brand
that Khatron Ke Khiladi stands for - he's
rugged, young and absolutely dashing and we
couldn't agree more. Now let's see how Arjun
manages to impress his TV audience as the
