OMG! Katrina Kaif's life is now an inspiration for a chick flick film!

She is the perfect example of hard work can take you places and success come to those who push themselves harder. Today, Katrina Kaif is one of the biggest stars in Bollywood. But this has come over the years of backbreaking work and perseverance. And now, the ace actress has proved her mettle in the industry, especially to those who say that models cannot act! Her journey has been very inspiring, right from the beginning of her days, when a girl from UK moved to the tinsel town, to leave her mark and become successful. However, looks like Kat's journey seems to be inspiring audiences and even filmmakers.
The upcoming film, Angry Indian Goddesses, has therefore taken a leaf out of Ms Kaif's life. The film is about 7 girls who come together for a bachollerte in Goa. Amongst them, one of the girl is from UK who is trying to make inroads in the industry. The film mildly traces Katrina's journey and her struggles while narrating her story. Shares director Pan Nalin, "Katrina Kaif is a hugely successful star in India and when we wrote the movie one particular character seemed to be perfect inspiration from her life. Even though we haven't shown the whole journey of Katrina we surely were inspired to have Amrit play the role of a London-migrated girl to India."
Angry Indian Goddesses stars Sandhya Mridul, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Sarah-Jane Dias, Anushka Manchanda, Amrit Maghera, Rajshri Deshpande and Pavleen Gujral playing lead roles with Adil Hussain. The film was recently screened in the Special Presentations section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
