Thanks so much for all the likes and comments. Not able to respond individually because of work commitments.. so doing it this way...Please don't mind...

@pomegranate: My personal opinion is the same. That Ananya's character is a misfit for the journalism profession (for that matter any profession) especially when she is shown to be having considerable experience in that field and is supposed to be responsbile for taking the channel to number 1 position. Somewhere along the way, CVs have lost the kind of expectations they have set for her character, did not show any character growth etc...but I guess there is no point in crying over split milk.

@anupama: Agree, if a character behaves the same way from the beginning to the end of the show, it is quite disappointing. It was supposed to be a journey of Ananya from an innocent girl to a mature woman.. but no where did this character been evident. Lost cause now, so let's leave it at that...

@vayuputras: Totally agree with you. Her character has gone from bad to worse over the last 20+ episodes. Actress is sincere in her effort to portray the character given to her, but she is badly let down by a weak script.

@lavenk: A case of misplaced loyalties. She doesn't know whom to listen to and instead pays attention where she shouldn't.

@Aalina: Agree. by the time Kabir is done with handling the Kashyap woman, he will end up at an asylum. Pagal banake chodenge eh dono. But, agar jaan bachi to sirf Saale ki wajah se hogi.😊

Now coming back to Ms. Kashyap and her GREAT behaviour, I feel that CVs have seriously butchered her character... I agree that she has remained consistent but then, there are certain things that must be noted here :

1. No matter how emotional or impulsive a person is, he/she cannot behave so irrationally everytime unless he/ she suffers from serious mental disorder. I am also an emotional person. I can cry for days on a stupid serial or movie (that I did recently and you know it!) but in spite of that, I will never kill anyone even if that person has caused serious damage to me.

2. Ananya is a senior journalist. If you are in a profession of journalism, the first lesson you have to learn is the lesson of TOLERANCE which this girl doesn't have.. A Journalist has to be an astute, tolerant and extremely adjustable with the situations be it negative or positive. Unfortunately, Ms. Kashyap lacks in all these qualities. I simply wish, along with studying the atmostphere of news channels off the screen, the CVs also should have studied the behaviour of journalists there.

3. Whatever mistakes one commits once, that one never repeats if it is actually going to be fatal for not only that person but for others too. But, Ms. Kashyap has decided, she will not improve on the name of "Main nahi control kar sakti ..."

Actually, I feel that Ananya knew right from beginning that Kabir was there at the time of SK's murder so before taking revenge from anyone, she is taking a classic revenge from Kabir by putting him every time in problem, whether its getting the beating from Baaghi or running behind her putting his job at stake in Arms dealers case or now,... Great Ms. Kashyap go on!!!

Shaliy I agree with all that you said..but problem is CVs are using Ananya's character as a scapegoat to show the vamp and villain getting their way.

Instead of showing Kabir and Ananya being together, as engaged, and using their reporting skills to counter the conspiracy against them, they showed a break up and showing them as fighting individually.

Jab tak eh divide and rule policy chalega, there is no hope for Ananya's character. They are just going to use her character to fill the space.

Expecting Ananya to act like a journalist is a day dream. And that is a tragedy because, this serial is supposed to be about reporters.

To say the writer has messed it up big time, with the story and characters, would be an understatement of the century.

Add to it, her accusation on Kabir. Jumping to conclusion without clarification.

Beginning episodes,

"I used to think, our previous editor was weak. Per aap to bik chuke hei".

Ending episodes,

"You sold off all your ethics for comfort".

...

Ananya remained same. But Kabir changed. Initial Kabir used to disprove her allegations and used to make her realise, how she was wrong. After he fell in love (Or well? Afterwards we never saw the original Kabir), he never tried to disaprove her. He kept on swallowing all her allegations. This spoilt brat Ananya who never has introspection, her henpecked boyfriend Kabir who never opposes her action; both made me loose connection with the serial.

I am surprised, RK or KK are happy with the way serial has turned out.
