What is the responsibility of you as a citizen of a democratic nation?

Responsibility as a citizen of democratic nation is to work towards advancement of country considering that u represent the country and u dont have anyone above u to order u as a king😊

Do you think it is the intenal matter of Myanmar?

Yes it is an internal matter for any country if they want democracy or military raj.... India is very lucky to be a democratic country for so long and tht is because our forefathers have fought for this independence.... most of other asian countries have had problems in keeping up with democracy.... and no its not related to political situations... its because of way of thinking of people.... Indian society is more tolerant.... ex: The thailand govt was toppled by military last year because the PM abused his powers for his own financial gains... which has been happening to india since 50 years.... but we are very tolerant to topple such government😆

Do you think Indian army should still maintain "friendly" ties with the Myanmar's army?

I think the army should use this relations to persuade the military junta of Burma to work towards the betterment of already so poor country...

Do you think Indian govt should ignore what happens in Myanmar?

If it claims itself to be emerging superpower, it cant just ignore this problems... even though they are internal matters, as a superpower, it becomes the responsibility of India to work towards the betterment of people in this region and the government should pressurise the Military junta of burma to improve the conditions... but i dont think it will stop until they get democracy, just like it happened in nepal.😊..... its the picture which even we cd have seen before 1947 in India.

If India were to vote for sanctions against Myanmar would you support it?

India should stop all military assistance to Myanmar but the charity assistance like food and all shall go to burma or the condition of people from burma would be even worse

If an international effort(militarily) was made to restore democracy in Myanmar would you support it?

I would strongly oppose this.... the democracy can stay in this country only and only if it is earned by the people in the country... I dont want them to be dependent on any other country....

If what is happening in Myanmar happened in your country( women were getting raped, men were sent to prison for opposition) would you want someone interfering in your country's matter?

It is first our duty to fight for our rights.... Ofcourse i would appreciate pressure from outside but i would nt support any military intervention from outside in our country😊

Being a superpower doesnt mean blindly following the instructions of earlier superpower too😉😆

I strongly feel that USA kuch jyada hi dhyan deta hain international politics me😆

If you want to think Strategic Interests, we should be there as the first responders(irrespective of our ideology) By us not getting involved we have allowed China to take control of the situation, today if the UN secratary wants to make a visit, the approval has to go through China. Dont be surprised if tommorow Myanmar comes back claiming a portion of Indian land as their own and we will be dealing with a proxy war with China

I think we are representing this countries where it is required.... while china is just looking for booming their own economy... India has always represented third world countries in clashes against developed countries in the international trade rules and agreements so that the economies of third world countries get a fair share in international business....

we cant be lopsided considering this one situation.... today the image of India is not that of a follower of USA but a country with its independent thinking.... and tht is where it earns credibility for this small countries....

Do u know EU had proposed to watch over the elections proposed in thailand in this december.... but the govt here told them to mind their own business.... 😊
