PankHit Bane AlZia!

Pankhuri: Aap hame chodkar mat jaeeye..ham aapke bina nahi reh sakte..

Rohit: Aap hamari hain... Bas hamari...

They lied in a pool of blood, surrounded by the mass of dead bodies. They gave away their last breaths...

"Cut it!" Yelled the director Arif. "Razia Sultan is Over!"

Rohits and Pankhuris hearts pierced when they heard these words. Shooting was over. They had to leave..maybe they would never meet again.

The entire set clapped for them and congratulated each other. Ankit stepped forward and congratulated Pankhuri personally. "It was an awesome shot. You're very good Pankhuri." She smiled back at him. She excused herself and went back to the green room to change, hiding the tears in her glittering brown eyes.

Rohit sat down on a chair inside the palace in the set. He reflected on the last 8 months of his life. Being Mirza ... Walking like him...talking like him..and loving like him. He fell in love with Mirza..and Razia. He wore his black RayBans to hide the water in the ever so bright green eyes.

Saurabh noticed him sitting quietly and walked up to him. He placed a hand on his shoulder and said,"Bro, the fans are gonna miss AlZia a lot." He replied," I know. Even I'm gonna miss her a lot." "Her?" Asked Saurabh. Rohit came back to his senses and understood it was not right to disclose his feelings for Pankhuri at that moment. "Her means Razia Sultan's character Bro. Whom did you think?" "Nobody. Anyways, the AD ( Assistant Director) is calling us to the office. He is making pairs for today's travel to Mumbai. " Both men got up and left.

At the office , Rohits eyes searched for one person; Pankhuri. He found her but alas, she was already sitting next to Riya, thus making Rohit have to sit next to Ankit on the other side. The AD began,"OK. These are the pairs in which you all will be travelling to Mumbai. I hope anyone won't have a problem with these. It's for your safety. The pairs are:

Seema ji and Sambhavna

Ankit and Riya ( Ankit was not so happy )

Saurabh and Zara

Me and Yasir..." He called out everyone's names except Rohits and Pankhuris. At the end, Pankhuri asked," So does that mean I have to go with Rohit?" The AD replied,"Yes. Any problem?" "no! Not at all", came the answer from both sides. It was as if both were planning to go together. Pankhuri blushed red. How cute she looks when she blushes, thought Rohit.

He went back to his dressing room and looked into the mirror. "The last time I meet her..it may be. You have to say it today Rohit." He said. Pankhuri sat in her room and thought,"His eyes.. They call me. I need to talk to him today.

PART 2

Both of them were called towards each other for a reason unknown. Did they like each other? No, it was more than that. Did they love each other? Maybe, maybe not.

The sun sank in the horizon and Pankhuri sat there on the sand observing the last sunset of her Razia Sultan Shooting days. She got up to leave, just when she caught sight of someone else sitting at a distance. Tucking her flicks behind her ear, she moved on to see who the person was. Nearing, she noticed it was him, Rohit. He sat there throwing the small sand pebbles into the water.

Rohit was seeing the sun set, and also his happiness for the time being. He loved Mirza and his life. The show had become a part of his life, and even Razia herself. To confess his feelings was a difficult job. And now he had to go a long road with her, without letting his desires come to the top. When he was about to throw a large pebble into the sea, he felt a warm hand on his shoulder. A hand he was familiar of. He looked around to see her. His Razia. She looked brighter than the golden sun and her smile was strong enough to wipe off his sorrows. Pankhuri asked, "Why are you sitting alone?" He kept looking at her, though the question was heard by him. "Rohit? Are you okay?" He woke up from his dreamworld. "Yes. I'm good. Come sit. I was just looking at the sun set. My ... sorry... our last sunset here in Umergaon as a part of Razia Sultan." She nodded her head. "You know, I'll miss the stupid things that we as AlZia did, under the chaadar and all that. Don't take it in a wrong way please. I mean.." After a brief moment, both burst out laughing at the same time, one failing to convey what she actually meant and the other laughed remembering those scenes. Their laugh was full of heart because they say, when you laugh with the person you love, your heart fills with happiness. Same was happening with them.

They stopped for a brief moment but started laughing again. Pankhuri placed her hand on her mouth, trying to hide her pearl white teeth. But her hand fell to the ground and that too on his hand. They both felt a sharp punch right in the centre of their hearts. As if Cupid just struck them with the same arrow. They stopped laughing and looked into each others' eyes. For the first time, they looked into each other's eyes as Pankhuri and Rohit, not as Mirza And Razia. He saw an innocence in her eyes, a bright gleam, unlike he had ever seen before. She saw his emerald green eyes and in them the love for her eyes. Their hands did not move, nor did their eyes. Slowly but steadily their faces moved towards each other.. wanting to see the eyes closer. It was as if they felt 'Mera Maula' playing in the background and they were in their charecters.

Moving towards each other, they felt an unknown force pulling either of them towards each other. She could feel his warmth, and he could feel her love. They were about an inch away from each others lips when a shout came from behind - " The crew is leaving. Pack up and board guys. We need to take a group photo also." Just like always, they had been interrupted. Pankhuri looked down and got up, walking away from him as fast as she could. Rohit stood up, but stood still, trying to take in what just happened. Pankhuri blushed like tomatoes and smiled, not showing her face to him. She wanted to relive the moment again. Rohit took a deep breath and closed his eyes. The closed eyes' darkness showed him only one thing - Pankhuri.

The entire crew was making their arrangements and loading their baggage into their respective cars. Rohit and Pankhuris car was No.2 . They were given a black XUV 500 with enough space for another 2 to fit in. But neither of them wanted anyone to come in between.

Rohit had left the beach and went to change. He had a last look at the brown Mirza dress he wore for his 1st episode and then at the Sherwani he wore in the last episode. A journey of changing.. A journey of self discovery for him it was. He changed into a black Tommy Hilfiger Tee.. whose sleeves and half length arms gave special emphasis on his well built muscles. He wore a black jeans and loafer shoes, trying to be as comfortable as possible. He put his RayBans in his bag and styled his hair in the mirror. He said to himself,"Rohit, You like Pankhuri? No. You love her? Maybe. But how will you tell her? Will she accept you? And Naina? What to do with her? Leave her, focus what to do now!" Just then he heard a knock at the door. He had a final look in the mirror and picked his bag. He touched the door knob, turned and began,"Ya Sir I am.." He stopped. There was no Sir in front of him. It was a lady. It was her, Pankhuri. My, how flaming she looked,he thought. She wore a pink balloon top, blue tight jeans, a pair of pink sport shoes and let her hair open. Rohit stood there for a few moments, just admiring what he was seeing. Pankhuri snapped her hand in front of him,bringing him back to the real world. "Ya Pankhuri. I'm ready. Youre good to go?"

"Ya. Come out. We are packing and taking pictures. The last pictures on this set."

He followed her and they moved out. Pankhuri was looking around as memories came back to her. The fights, the throne, the hammam, the swing on which they sat... 'They ' sat. She had stopped saying I. She said They, Us. She counted him in everything now. Even in her dreams.

The luggage was put in and they stood in front of the palace to take a groupfie. The order was something like this:

Rohit very smartly placed his hand on her waist from behind . She felt a sharp sensation of upcoming desire but controlled it for the sake of a proper photo. After the photo was taken, the members hugged each other and a few tears fell from everyone's eyes. This time none of them hid it from each other.

At about 7:30 pm, everyone was in their cars. Pankhuri and Rohit dropped their personal bags behind as they didn't want anything to make them uncomfortable whilst sitting next to each other. They were accompanied by a driver, Chand. "Chaliye Chand Bhaiyya.. Der ho rahi hain." Said Rohit. But both were wishing if this farewall could have been a little later.

They started off and maintained a safe distance between them, not trying to make each other uncomfortable. Neither wanted to keep the distance.

After a minutes into the journey, Rohit began a conversation, not able to keep quiet anymore.

"Pankhuri, can I ask you something?"

"Yes?"

"Did you mind anything about what happened at the beach today?"

Pankhuri thought to herself - How can I Rohit? It was the best moment of my life..

She replied,"No. Not at all. It happens sometimes you know."

Rohit was relieved. At least she hadn't minded anything. Which meant he could try again...
