One of the organisers of the event says, "We wanted Malaika to do a segment where she wears a bikini. We spoke to her but she asked for too much money. We couldn't afford to pay her that much."

Malaika Arora Khan has refused to don a bikini in the Indian leg of the Ms Bikini World contest, which will be held in Goa this December.

One of the organisers of the event says, "We wanted Malaika to do a segment where she wears a bikini. We spoke to her but she asked for too much money. We couldn't afford to pay her that much."

"It would have been gr eat if she had asked for less money to don the bikini. But it's okay. We have approached her for a few other segments for the same event. We are hopeful that she will do one of those at least," adds our source.

When contacted, Malaika admitted that she was asked to walk the ramp in a bikini. "But I have never worn in a bikini in a film or on the ramp. So why would I do it now? Yes, I quoted a price, which was too high. But that was simply to deter them," she says.

"Thereafter, they approached me to host the event or be their brand ambassador. I am in talks with them for those two things. Let's see if and when we lock the deal," Malaika adds.
