IKRS 8th October 2015 ep 52 My Take.

Ablution, washing, cleansing is all about getting rid of soil, filth, and marks.. make good as new and make a fresh start ,a clean start! For cleanliness is next to godliness. It pleases the divine deity when humans wash away the misgivings between each other and come clean with each other..

Soapy suds.. blowing bubbles , ethereal , floating ,settling ,popping.. vanishing into the space around till frowns, smiles, spring and the moment ends as bonding an undeclared link betwixt two people.. An everyday ordinary chore of hand wash is taken to the dizzy heights of romance, which all respond to. Dhani gives Viplav the special feeling of being cared for.. as she puts his soiled tee shirt through a wash. Soapy frothy water is child's play for even two adults! Handling weightless froth is no dirty exercise as the fingers have less chances of getting soiled.. the light bubbles wantonly and frivolously glide and settle on Dhani's face.. this prompts harmless playfulness from Viplav too ,all in good naturedly humour.. but one can see subtle shades of a mutual attraction from both sides. However as usual practice no Viplav Dhani interaction is entirely free from a strangely odd discord between the two.. this time it's viplav's hand washed slightly shrunken once smelly tee shirt of.. that irate him and she dismisses the discord by her apology and a bid to use it for mopping the floor! with a cheeky smile Viplav blows froth in her face in the hope, that her anger floats away... and her heart is cleansed with the springs of love..

An attempt at washing away doubts. in Kanak's presence , Dashrant clarifies the reason why he allows tripurari and his mother Durga to stay in the outhouse.. rather shamelessly he hints his wife understands his position with Durga , for if she does goes to show she is an adaptive wife who accepts the awkwardness of his situation. The day she does he will feel he is supported by his wife Kanak, gets a veiled warning that now she has nothing left to black mail with.. as he has cleansed away all the misgivings from within his wife's mind. He makes it clear to Sushma he will do his own thing in his own way! Tripurari comes to collect him as Durga wishes to see him.. Dashrant goes and takes his own sweet time!

Erasing doubts of concern..dadi is shaken away by the new regime set in her home ,living with the other woman .. she yearns to touch base with Viplav who loves her unconditionally. She arranges to meet him and the local temple. Playing a dirty game or an attempt to sail in two boats publically ..Dashrant goes to the outhouse to answer to Durga and assures her , despite his own family commitments with people in the main house. He will continue to support her, hence she needn't worry.

On to presenting a clean image but underneath as dirty as can be.. Tulsi speaks to her accomplice on the phone and complains this Viplav is stuck on her like woodworm to wood! She plans to go to the targeted venue to get a key print. Dhani comes ,she distracts her and tucks her phone under her sari . Dhani offers her kava to make her feel better. Cleverly Tulsi presents herself as a sincere mourning widow dejected sometimes, she considers committing the sin of taking her own life.. but now she wishes to be like Dhani.. wishes to devote her whole life in the obeisance to her gods like Dhani does. That she wishes there fore to offer her husband's last memory the gold coin as an offertory to the gods! that would Dhani take her to the temple??.. yes the do arrive at the temple.. one with a clean and pure heart ,mind and soul.. the other with a dirty, defiling heart mind and soul! as luck has it, Dhani has to clean the steps of the mandir. which suits Tulsi's impure designs, she goes in and takes multiple pictures of the gold embellishments of lord Kishan's idol ,plus others of solid gold statuettes of Krishna and radha.. she is rebuked and told to leave and pray outside as the mandir will be closed for an hour..

The sight of a loved one purification of the soul! Viplav and his dadi meet at the designated mandir. They sit and talk. She wants to know when he will return home? he replies with great earnest conviction that he has to teach them a lot of new things, has to change many things for them , have to do many things for them.. besides he has to have Dhani's forgiveness too.. apart from winning the Ashram's case. but he also gives dadi the impression that he harbours a warm affection for Dhani.. he tells dadi she's feisty and annoying! Is only twenty but talks like an old lady that Dhani!

A sweep of the mandir steps down which approach unclean feet that hold an unclean putrid body!.. Dhani cleans the steps but the action of her broom is stopped by two imposing legs she looks up it's Phool Chand whom she has had run in's before.. he gives her a filthy look, wants to look at her beauty closely to find out what is it about her that makes folks forget right from wrong? he grabs her arm and sneers she wasn't shy to let Viplav take her sari off so what's this shyness for now? he man handles her and restrains her from leaving and she cries and struggles against his strong grip and dirty language.. at last she escapes and runs like hell distraught from the mandir!! Both her and Viplav miss each other as he walks his dadi to the car.. he is happy and smiles.. feels refreshed and revitalized after meeting his dadi.. Dhani runs home in the opposite direction to him ,she cries hysterically!

Unclean act from an unclean thief.. Tulsi waits as the deaf and mute widow . Watches the pandit lock up the temple, catches him hook the key near his waist. She feigns to seek his blessings and then furtively gets hold of the key, as he goes away.. then takes it's imprint on a bar of soap and then makes a mute noise and runs to give the key to the pandit who blesses her and tells her she has averted some hand from committing a huge and she mockingly muses.. the crime is yet to be committed pandit ji..

The purity of empowering a loved one! Viplav sits in the courtyard on the phone. Dhani barges in and runs across the courtyard crying hysterically! Alarmed he asks what was wrong? She runs to her room bawling her eyes out. He enters and sits beside her as she cries uncontrollably.. He whispers calmly , then kneels before her.. watching hr face intently why do you cry? and she cries and replies that pandit Phool Chand ! Viplav loses it, what did he do? he..she cries .. characterless! sinner! what happened that night, he knows all about it! he said a lot of dirty filthy things to me! had I stayed there I wold have lost everything! I should have died there! but I ran away from there! she turns and cries out to Viplav! and all this has happened because of you! why did you save me that day? you should have let me die! she screamed at a confused and concerned Viplav! because of you and only you! people are calling me characterless! calling me a wh**e! a prostitute !she cries bitterly calling me a wh**e! angrily he tells her to stop it! dont you utter another word! and she argues why not? you not only ruined Tania's life but mine too! Viplav warns her, I told you be quiet! but she yells in his face why should I be quiet? if you'd let me die nothing would have happened except there would be one less widow in the world! wouldn't have to die time and again! he roars be quiet! otherwise! and she yells in his face why should I be quiet! otherwise what? is there anything left ?? she cries bitterly shaking all over Viplav watches her in amazement..is this the Dhani that he knows?? execution of a plan .. mission to avenge Dhani! But who would do it ? Viplav or Dhani..?? gently Viplav gets up from the floor and sits beside her and says, now is your pain lessened by your crying? or are you going to sit up the whole night crying your eyes out soothing your pain? let me tell you one thing clearly Dhani.. you wont achieve anything from weeping! You will have to tackle a man like Phool Chand! in fact you will have to give a reply to each and every such person who points a finger at you! who insults you! and this can only happen Dhani, when you yourself realize that all those people are wrong and you are right! she cries, I know that I am right and they were wrong! and Viplav growls, then why did you shut up! and ran away instead? Why didn't you say something? why did you run away from them? why did you always bow your head in defeat and come home? you have a lot of guts to fight me! he mocks her.. you act like you have so much self-respect! so much self-respect! but when out siders point fingers at your character! you cower and come home! he argues vigorously , Dhani even your god sides with those people who walk with the truth! when you yourself are not willing to accept the truth then what's the point of bowing down before your god! why do you worship your god? you should have slapped that Phool Chand's face there and then with your slipper! Till you fear men who are the likes of Phool Chand he will carry on intimidating you! this world is not as nice as you make it out to be! hey get up! and confront the lot! he yells and empowers her! go show them that you don't fear them! there is only a tiny bit of distance between your fear and your truth! but this distance , you will have to cover Dhani.. he says gently as he wants her to act..he argues, you cannot be quiet Dhani show them today Dhani! He says with a clenched fist in her face, bucking her up.. you haven't done anything wrong! The truth and your god is on your side! how many will you fear? go and show them! if any one asks you one question you give them two replies! Says Viplav , his eyes flashing passionately with a clenched fist and she looks into his piercing and expectant eyes! and slowly she wipes the tears from her face, then gets up and walks to the door to leave Viplav sits wondering..and then Viplav too follows her..

Washing dirty linen in public!..dhani rings the temple bell! Phool Chand stands to the side distributing offertory to devotees going into the temple. He turns to find Dhani her palm outstretched for offertory. She looks fearlessly into his face..waiting.. he frowns, confused, tries to intimidate her with his devilish eyes, she says she wants the offertory.. he replies , looks like you want trouble.. and Dhani turns her face to the path leading up to the mandir .. Viplav stands as her guardian angel.. he folds his arms across his chest and gives lion like looks to her..gives her strength from a distance. And Dhani draws her strength from Viplav's presence and says to phool chand, god is as much mine as he yours..and his house is always open for his devotes! every one has equal right over his offertory too! Phool Chand gives her an evil smile. you wicked , sinner! you dare to back chat with me? Viplav watches with lion like eyes from far and Phool Chand replies, besides what use is this offertory to you? it's not for the likes of you! you go sell your virtue at the brothel and you.. Dhani shouts in his face , enough! phool chand! He is stunned into silence.. and she carries on.. you better know you don't frighten me with your big voice! sinner! faithless ! is not me! but you! she shouts at Phool Chand ..Viplav smirks from far. Dhani shouts you stand in the house of god and lie! you claim to be a staunch devote! Isn't that right ?>have a bit of shame! you stand before god and he too knows who is truthful and who is a liar! Viplav clap from far and Dhani says , you falsely accuse me! you should be ashamed of yourself! Viplav, smiles proudly and clenches his pressed palms as Dhani continues.. every drop of my blood is pure and will always remain to do so! Phool Chand looks beaten and he turns his face as devotees behind him say ignore her pandit ji, and he picks up courage and yells at her, you go to he mandir to lose your virtue! pour liquor on bhole Nath! and you have the nerve to say you are still pure? Viplav runs forward and pandit , yells at her , wh**e! sinner! you won't heed to me and he twists his arm ready to strike her and she ducks and Viplav's hand shields her face! and grips Phool Chand's arm! and he ooks at Viplav who slowly moves and stands before Dhani! and viplav says , you are such a respectable pandit Phool Chand, but in the mandir before all you are not ashamed to raise your hand to strike a woman!! don't you forget status! otherwise you'll be serving offertory with one hand only! Got thatin yur head! threatens Viplav! the onlookers change their tune and one says, you are rather ,brother he's picking on a poor widow! and that too before the gods! What kind of a pujari is he??and this time Phool Chand hs to run away in disgrace!.. and another man says .hey you both are the same whose picture came in the papers?dhani retorts, kaka don't transfer the impurity of your unclean thoughts upon us.. that night vikal Sahib,was saving my life and god knows what not people concluded nothing of the sort that you think happened! Dhani says calmly and confidently and Viplav can't believe his ears..and slowly she turns to face him and his mouth drops..and he stares into her eyes..and she gets embarrassed and before her eyes viplav's turn to jelly and he begings to lose his balance!she goes,heyyy! and he swaggers with drowsy dilated pupils! Today for the first time I saw you in the role of queen Jhansi I felt I was going to faint! My heart is set on calling you Dhani of Benaras! Hummm? and she smiles shyly and lowers her eyes..as Viplav smiles on..this complete empowering Dhani scene is just fantastic in content value..viplav would have given Phool Chand a rollicking he would remember till doomsday! But Viplav primed Dhani and then looked on because he wanted Dhani to see for herself the pure grit she is capable of. Viplav's teaching technique was based on how to fight bullies, confront them! and show them they have no hold on you.. another thing.. asking for offertory ,is where it all started with Viplav and Dhani.. the encounter brought about discord between them.. now in this offertory scene Dhani herself's acknowledges before god and people.. what happened that night between her and Viplav.. kick start of love story

Execution of an unholy ,impure plan.. Tulsi presides over a meeting with her accomplices as she studies the blue print of the mandir.. the decision is reached the plan will be executed tomorrow. she then says she left for the mandir with Dhani who may have reached home by now ,hence she too has to leave..
