SWASAN ONE SHOT - THE BREAKDOWN
Situation of the one shot:
Swara and sanskar got married and on laksh's advice the family sent them to their guest house and finally in a dramatic way and lots of drama ragini was exposed infront of laksh and later all the events were explained into the whole family of maheshwari's and gadodia's. swara and ragini went back to baadi along with her parents and no one stopped any one of them thinking they need time to digest all this.

Swasan room:
The long day and eventful night had atlast came to an end. Sanskaar was pacing in his room remembering what all happened that day. He was married. Yes he was married to his love but he was not happy ,there was no love in that marriage it was just out of majboori. The mission was accomplished and now she left to her house. Her words echoed in his mind, once we achieve our target then u will be on ur way and I will be on mine. They were ringing in his ears. Tears were filling in his eyes. He even remembered that he agreed to what she said.He definitely know deep down in some part of his brain that his love will never succeed. What he is facing today is the destiny of his love for her. He knows he can never get her. She can never love him. She can never be with him. But still he loved her. Though his brain was giving him many reasons to console him that she was never his and can never be his still tears started filling in his eyes and made their way out.
He sat on the couch where he used to sleep and stare at her calm and sleeping face. He tried to lay down on the bed but he could feel her aura around him on the bed. She did not say a word when she was going with her parents and did not even look back. That was really haunting him and he had a huge urge to see her face once and come back. He wanted to see her sleeping peacefully and with a smile. When she was here the days and nights were always filled with tension due to ragini's plotting and so he decided to go to baadi and see her silently and come back. He did not let his brain to raise any arguments and simply followed his heart and started towards her.
Baadi:
Swara was lying on her bed. She was twirling and moving on her bed trying to sleep. She was happy that her mission was accomplished. Her parents are together and she was back with her happy family. She wondered why she was unable to sleep. She turned to her left and remembered sanskaar and his couch. She somewhere missed him. She felt she was habituated to see him regularly hence she is missing him and everything will be ok once she gets back to normal. When she took her hand near to her neck she touched the mangalsutra. She then remembered how they got married and how he always said that he will stop the marriage and say the truth infront of everyone. She then remembers his confession and stops her brain from thinking about. She dosesnt want to give a chance either to her brain or her heart to analyse or understand anything regarding this. Her state of mind was much disturbed. She was not ready for any step in her life in any manner and with any one.
Sanskaar slowly entered baadi and reached near swara's bedroom window. He saw her closing her eyes and he smiled seeing her and stood there for few minutes looking at her. Then he heard a knock at the door and swara got up it was ragini. Sanskaar turned to move out but what he listened made him shocked to core. Ragini the person who tried to kill her sister for her love laksh was now ready to give up her love and reunite her sister with her love. Sanskaar was not in a mood to listen to all this and he left from there.
Swara explained ragini that she can never get back to laksh as she doesn't love him anymore. She explains her that her intention was to unite her parents and she has nothing to do with laksh and she made it clear that now she wants to move ahead in her life. Though ragini tried to convince her swara was very clear that she can never ever get back to laksh. Swara explained ragini that what ever ragini did then was just out of obsession for laksh and now what she is doing is just because of guilt and both are not correct state of mind to take a right decision. Ragini agrees and goes back to hall.
Sanskaar was returning to his house and he realized that ragini now wanted to unite laksh and swara and he felt like some one stabbed in his heart at that thought. But his brain gave him enough arguments that it was meant to happen and he felt that after truth is out everyone will support it and he will lose her for ever to laksh. This thought made him completely shattered. Within few minutes he decided to leave the house for ever and will never return back as he can never see her with some one else and he is not big hearted like her to see his love moving on in her life without him. So he quickly packed his luggage and left the house. Before leaving he kept a note in his room that swara was free from his marriage and he is flying to another country which he doesn't want to reveal and will return back when he wants.
Next morning everyone realizes that sanskaar left house , sujata keeps sobbing and news reaches baadi too. Swara will be shocked at his action. She rushes to mm to meet sujata. As she reaches there laksh gives her his note which says she is free from his relation and she gets teary eyed seeing it. She remembers his confession and how she said that they will part ways after the truth his out and his approval. She slowly moves out of house and stands at the place where once their tent was present and sits on her knees and cries. She feels guilty that he left because of her. Laksh sees her crying and tries to console her. But she slowly moves away from him and reaches baadi giving him no chance to talk to him atleast.
Its almost 10 days passed by and swara was in her silent mode. She was no more the one who was chirpy lovable and fun loving girl. Ragini was also calm. No one spoke with her and she was in her guilt of cheating everyone. Swara acted normal infront of her ma and baba but she was calm when she was alone. She never tried to give a chance either to her heart or brain to their arguments regarding the happenings in her life. She stopped to respond to anything. A mother never fails in understanding her kids and their pain and what they are going thru. Shomi understood the turmoil what swara was going thru but she could not understand exactly what was running in her mind and heart and why she is such a mode where she doesn't want to react to anything.
Since the day the truth came out and sanskaar left to foreign there were discussions going on in both the houses regarding the future of all the 4 who got effected with this game. Many arguments and counter arguments went on between the adults of both the families. Some were to reunite swara with laksh then some questioned about ragini and sanskaar's future. If the couples continue so then what about the happiness in their lives?? Will all be happy?? No.. like these many questions were in their mind and there were no answers. After a lot of discussions and everyones consent DP and AP finalized that laksh would divorce ragini and marry swara as even ragini was ready for it. Laksh was happy that finally he was going to get back to his love after a tension and pain of these 10 days. Though he remembered that his brother also loved the same girl he agreed as he was not in the house and he himself made her free from the relation and even she was not ready to enter his life. He thought swara will be finally his.
DP and AP kept the proposal of swara and laksh's marriage infront of shekhar and shomi. Though they pointed about ragini's future she said that she is ok with it and swara deserves laksh. When shekhar was about to agree to the proposal shomi stopped him and made it clear to everyone that it was completely swara's decision to get back to laksh or not. She said that' "my daughter is not the same who she was earlier and she is lost somewhere. The swara present in my house is now calm and is lost in her own world. she had gone thru a lot of troubles in the past few days which turned her life upside down and everything changed in her life so drastically that she is not able to digest or cope up with them. I cant make a decision about her life now. Its gonna be completely hers. We will accept her decision what ever it may be whether she wants to get back to sanskaar or laksh whether she wants to move ahead from all these and want to make a career of her own. For this she needs time of her own and I will give her that .Anything she decides I will support her and no one will say anything about it. Its enough what she suffered is more than enough. I want her happiness and will do anything to get that back.." after listening everyone agreed and shekhar too for the first time stood by shomi and swara. Though Dp and AP were sad with the decision they felt that is right for now and left.
laksh was little tensed as he couldnot understand how swara will react. will she accept me or not that was one question which was haunting him. he felt very much disturbed and went to the river side temple and sat on the shore of the river and was trying to calm himself and his thoughts down.
Gadodia's house:
As soon as maheshwari's left shomi went to swara and tried to talk to her. She asked her in all the ways but she did not respond. Seeing her like that shomi slapped swara hardly. Listening to the slap sound whole family was near swara's room.
Shomi caught swara by hands and asked, " what happened to u shona?? Why are u like this?? U fought so hard for the truth and when truth is out why have u become like this?? Please say something. Please do say something.." saying this shomi hugs swara tightly. After few minutes she could hear swara's sobbing voice slowly..
Slowly tears starts flowing down her eyes and she gradually breaks down.. she cries her heart out as if she has lost something valuable and can never get that back. Shomi tried to console her but she couldnot. She thought that she need to let her cry so that the pain which she was hiding in her heart for all these days will be lessened and only then she will be able to open up infront of her. Due to all the stress and pain since the last few days swara fainted while crying itself.
Shekhar immediately called the doc who gave her an injection and was asked to give her more rest. According to his advice no one disturbed her. Shomi was crying in the hall. Shekhar was trying to console her. Shomi was saying shekhar that she has never seen swara so vulnerable before. She has some huge pain in her heart which she is trying to hide from them. She decided that she will speak to swara about it and will solve her issue how much tough it was since it was the matter of her daughter the only reason for her life and happiness.
Bank of the river:
Laksh sat there for many hours and it was almost 10 in the night and he thought that he need to go back. When he was about to go he saw a man in drunken state approaching towards him with a bottle in his hand and was completely drunk. After the person walked a few meters laksh could see his face in the light from the torch of fisherman who were working on their small boats. He was shocked to see the man. He was his brother who said he was flying to foreign is here and that too in such a state. Sanskaar the name escaped from his mouth in a shock. By the time laksh realized and came into senses sanskaar went near to the river bank and finished his bottle and thrown it into river. Laksh tried to go near him but by the time he reached sanskaar was sitting on his knees with his head down facing the temple which was on the hill top from the river bank and crying heavily. Laksh couldnot move an inch by seeing him like that. He was in such a distance he can hear his cries and his words.
Sanskaar cried a lot. He was literally broken down. He just collapsed down and started to get all the hidden pain in his heart out today (just liked he confessed his crimes infront of family). He was questioning the durga maa who was in the temple:
" maa.. what mistake I made in my life that u again took away my love from me? For the first time I loved kavitha u killed her and now I loved swara u have taken her away from me. What is the mistake I did?? I doesn't know what was going to happen to me and swara in future but u know it na so why did u make me fall in love with her. Why did u made me meet her?? Why did u separate swara and laksh after I understood my mistake? Why did u make her enter my life? Why did u make her my friend? Why did u made me fall for her? U know that she can never love me, she can never accept me, she can never be mine then why are u doing this to me?? Why?? Why ?? why?? I know I did mistakes in my life. Tried to separate swara and laksh but I repented for it. I fought for the truth and when finally truth is out why I became like this. When I know everything that my love will never succeed then why did I love her.. no why did u make me fall in love with her?? Now I cant even ask u for her because I myself know how it feels to be away from ur love. In these few days of my love for swara if I cant forget her then I can understand how it will be for laksh to forget her and for swara to forget laksh. I cant ask u to give her to me I cant ask u to reunite them with my whole heart, (hitting the ground) why did u make me like this. I cant wish for her happiness completely since I cant live without her and I cant ask her for me since I know she cant be happy with me. I doesn't have such a big heart like swara to see my love living infront of me with other person. So there is only one answer for it kill me.. yes ma kill me then there will not be any problem to anyone. I cant kill myself because I promised my mom that I will never think of suicide after kavita's death and I cant break my promise so u kill me and take me with u."
Saying these words and in a complete vulnerable and drunken state sanskaar starts going towards the temple and will be climbing the temple stairs. Tears filled in laksh s eyes and made their way out. As sanskaar started to go up even laksh went up and it started to rain heavily. Due to the heavy rain sanskaar slipped from the steps and started to roll down. By the time laksh reached the bottom of steps sanskaar was injured and was bleeding. Laksh took the help of locals and admitted him in hospital.
He sat outside the icu where sanskaar was getting treated. He thought of informing the family after he is sure about his condition. As he sat there his thoughts were filled with his brothers words which he said few minutes earlier. He has never seen his brother so vulnerable and weak. He was completely broken down and shattered to the core. He thought he loved swara the most but seeing his bro he understood what a true and self less love is. His love wanted her but never thought of her wish but sanskaar all he wanted is her happiness and her wish. Laksh realized that his love never thought about the pain sanskaar would go thru if he marries swara but sanskaar thought about laksh's pain even when he is married to her. He was ready to let her go just for her sake. Laksh realiised that sanskaar was more apt for swara than him. he thought that he never trusted her enough and could never even understand her but sanskaar was like her pillar in each and every stage of her fight. When he was in train of thoughts about swara and sanskaar's relation the doctor declared that sanskaar was fine as he was brought in time. Laksh checked on sanskaar and thought to inform the family about it. But when he went near sanskaar he could hear him taking her name even in that state. So finally laksh decided to inform swara first and then the family.
He asked the nurse to take care of him and started to baadi.
At 10 in swara's room:
Swara was sleeping in her room and all the family was in the hall. They were thinking about her and suddenly they could hear swara shouting sanskaar in her sleep. Shomi and all rushed to her room and shomi sat beside her who got up in her sleep and was looking shocked and completely drenched with sweat. Shekhar switched on the light and dadi brought her some water and fed her. Shomi patted her head and asked her what happened.. swara came out of the shock and hugged her mom and started crying.. shomi tried to console her and finally after few minutes swara started to speak..
By the time swara started to speak laksh reached baadi and entered the house. Seeing everyone at the entrance of swara's room he rushed and saw her crying hugging her mom. He was relaxed as she was ok and stood beside shekhar and ragini.
Swara while crying said, "maa.sanskaar something happened to him. im really tensed and I want to see him."
Shomi broke the hug and asked " shona but he is not here and don't be tensed its just a dream and dreams will not be true." "par maa.. its sanskaar ma. Anything shouldnot happen to him" saying this she holds her mangalsutra tightly and closes her eyes to pray. "shona tell me what happened?? Why are u so tensed and afraid?"
Swara caught her mom's hands and started " maa sanskaar he has fallen from somewhere he is hurt ma. I want to see him ma. I cant live if anything happens to him ma because I love him. yes I love sanskaar "
Everyone were shocked at these words. Especially laksh and ragini.
Swara: " ha ma. I love him. even he loved me ma. He loved me so much that I couldnot stop myself from loving him. he was always there by my side and did everything for me. He changed on my advice fought with his family for sake. What ever he did it was all for me and today he left me for my happiness ma. I know it would not have been easy for him to leave me and go but he did it just for my sake and I never understood him. he always said that he loved me but doesn't want to force me to love him but I never accepted it and always insulted him and his love and finally I lost him today. Ma.. but I did not do it wantedly as I never realized that I loved him till he left me. Promise ma after he left me and this country I realized what he really meant to me and how much he matters to me and how much I want his love and how much I loved him. I really love him maa.. but he left me for ever and ever releasing me from the relation of our marriage. Though we got married by force my love is not forced one I genuinely love him from the bottom of my heart." Saying this she cries hugging her mom.
Shomi feels happy that finally her daughter let her pain out which was hidden in these past few days. It was her love which she realized lately, her guilt of hurting him and her pain of losing him which made her like that. Rest of the family was also happy for swara and sanskaar . laksh who listened to everything now completely understood that they were destined to each other and decided to unite them and with this motive he came infront of swara and said that sanskaar did not leave to any other country and was here in Kolkata admitted in hospital with a minor head injury and explained all the events how he found him and took him to hospital and why he came here.
Listening to laksh's words swara was happy and she rushed to durga ma's idol in the hall and took sindoor and applied on her maang and prayed for sanskaar's well being and asked laksh to take her to him. all of them left to hospital and entered sanskaar's room and he was still taking her name in his sleep. She sat beside him and held his hand tightly. Everyone left the room and were waiting for him gain consciousness. The whole maheshwari's also got the news and were present there.
At 3 in the morning
Sanskaar moved a little and swara sensed it and called out his name. he slowly opened his eyes and found her. He could not believe his eyes. He said "you" "yes its me. What did u think that u will write a letter and leave me and go away from me. Cant u just come and talk to me once about us. How can u alone decide about our future?? If u repeat the same in future in case of us or our kids na then I will not leave u so easily I will punish u." listening to her words sanskaar understood what she meant and smiled with tears in his eyes.. " when u said so much say those three words also na" swara smiles and says " I hate u mr. sanskaar maheshwari" and kisses him on his forehead.
Sanskaar smiles and understands that he need to do a lot of tasks to make her say those three magical words. After all she is swara, his ziddi wife who will never leave anyone so easily and especially him, her husband.
The whole family looked thru the glass space of the door and found them smiling together and were happy as atlast both found their true love and are together for ever.
After sanskaar was discharged swara went back to mm and started her life all afresh and laksh too realized that swara and sanskaar are made for each other and considered her just as his friend. He made his mind to give a chance to his marriage too as even ragini was not that bad but asked for some time for him to settle down.
after three years of all these incidents swara and sanskaar were happily married and also has an year old daughter named survi. Swara started to sing and was one the top singers of Kolkata and nation too and ragini and laksh too settled in their life after a little struggle . Now ragini is happy and contended with her life and she is 6 months pregnant. The maheswari's were doing great in their business and since swara was busy as singer the family affairs were looked after by ragini and parineeta. Sujata and Annapurna were happy with their grand children 2 year old Aditya (adarsh and parineeta's son) and survi and waiting for the new unborn of ragini and laksh.
