The feminist outcome of this SwaSan track would be that Swara learns to become emotionally stronger and more practical. She focuses on her music career. She doesn't need Sanskaar, Lakshya, or her father. Just because Sanskaar loves her doesn't mean she should feel the same, now or ever. It is no cruelty on her part...love cannot be forced, so if she just never falls for him, that is her right. Whether she wants to remain friends with him or even have him in her life is totally up to her. No one should try to brainwash or coerce her to go back to either of those guys.
Similarly for Ragini, I hope she learns some life lessons, resolves never to stray again, and uses her new-found confidence for positive things. She can also choose what to do with her life or career, and not follow other people's decisions blindly. Her recent behavior shows she is very strong-willed when she sets a goal and that skill can be put to great use. She might still be genuinely in love with Lakshya but if she repents and does all she can to seek forgiveness then it won't matter whether he accepts her again. Or she may even realize that she doesn't really love him after all and that she was just being obsessive before. She will learn to forgive herself above all else when she knows she has given her all to make amends and her life should not revolve around him anymore. I'm not saying she should close the door to reconciliation but just that she shouldn't be chasing or pining for Lakshya at the expense of her mental peace and self-respect.
I really miss the music aspects of this show, would love to see that side explored again through their career development.
Now don't get me wrong, I was just trying to analyze everything from a feminist angle, which I'm not by the way. 😆 Having said all that the romantic in me wants to see SwaSan together, not because Swara is missing out on a great guy or Sanskaar "deserves" to be loved back but because she deserves happiness and respect that no man has previously given her. I also don't think Lakshya should be condemned for never accepting Ragini again, if that is the outcome. It is his right to choose whether to give her a second chance or not.
I don't know if the creatives will be bold enough to go down this path; would be quite refreshing as I sometimes get tired of the typical, predictable, and unrealistic storylines.
Would love to know what you guys think...😃
