This whole akheraj's family runs on self benefits...so when kamli needed akheraj to save herself & her husband from his uncle's danger , she used him. ...& is still using his arrest & his house to safeguard her interests , alongside ruling the house...otherwise she could have even rented/bought a house for themselves in the same village.

Mangala has successfully brainwashed that girl's mind...fueling the already present hatred towards her mother. If that girl's mother was bad...then mangala hasn't done/doing anything good either with that girl so far. The pick & choose service by her can't be termed as motherly affection. Neither do that prolonged stay at akheraj's place with the girl bearing all tortures with akheraj-kundan's presence was safe ...nor do the aimless , useless running now is safe .
