Hey guys! đ So here I'm posting the sequel to my previous song fiction - Darmiyaan.

I've written on both the lead pairs ie, Madhavan & Koyal as well as Raj & Koyal.

"Maddy, finally today I'm going to tell my feelings to Raj. I'm so excited. Wish me luck na!"
Maddy stopped suddenly realizing where he was and turned back when he saw a truck hit a girl. The girl looked familiar. As he realized who she was he ran towards her and the only word escaped his mouth... Koyal.
He went back to the couch and lay down and closed his eyes to sleep watching Koyal's face.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw Koyal trying to get up and I quickly reached her side and made her comfortable.
"Koyal, are you okay now? Do you need something?"
"No Maddy. I'm fine." she replied in a small voice. I knew she was in pain. She lay on the bed with a huge bandage on her forehead with a circular blood stain on it, her right arm fractured, her legs swollen and bruises here and there.
I called the doctor and that's when I realized that I hadn't informed our families. Because of all the tension yesterday night, it had slipped out of my mind.
I went outside the ward to make a phone call as the doctor checked Koyal and did the dressing.
"Amma, Koyal met with an accident yesterday and I brought her to City Hospital. The doctor said she's fine. Please inform uncle and aunty." I said and hung up the phone.
I tried calling Raj but his phone was not reachable. Soon, the doctors came out and I entered with some food from the hospital canteen.
"You must be hungry na? I brought some Poha and some coffee. Here have it."
I opened the packets and kept it on the tray. I saw Koyal's dull face and asked her if she was okay.
"Koyal you want to meet Raj? I tried calling him but his phone was unreachable. Wait, let me try again." I was about to take the phone when Koyal caught my hand.
"No Maddy. He won't pick up."
"Why?"
"Raj is travelling today. He must be busy. Don't disturb him."
"Travelling? Where is he going?"
"Mumbai.. Yes Maddy he's going to Mumbai. I went to meet him yesterday and he said that Mr. Tigmanshu Dhulia has given him a role in his next so he's off to Mumbai for the auditions." she said with a weak smile.
"But how can he go without infor---" I couldn't complete as Koyal's parents rushed towards and asking her about her health. I got up and stood back with Amma and Appa.
"Raj has gone to Mumbai" I said slowly.
"We know. Rosy just told us today morning."
As the clock stroke one I went to the kitchen and got some khichidi for Koyal. Amma had made it so that she recovers soon.
I went and sat beside Koyal and the moment she saw khichidi she started making faces.
"Nahi! I am NOT going to eat kichidi."
"Koyal, you have to."
"I said NO means NO!" she yelled.
"Hmm. So when is college starting?"
"After a few weeks." she replied and suspicious at the sudden change of topic.
I kept the tray aside and asked her, "So did you revise the assignments I gave you?"
"Nope. Maddy yaar. There is so much time left. Why are you taking stress now itself?"
"Arre Koyal. Exams are going to start soon. I think it's enough of masti and you better start revising."
"Oh! Maddy yaaa----" she opened her mouth really wide and I stuffed two spoons of khichidi in her mouth. She stared at me in horror. Right now she had no other option that swallowing it.
As she swallowed and stared at me I innocently smiled at her.
"MADDY!" She yelled and I had to close my ears.
"If I can't walk that doesn't mean I'm gonna spare you today. How dare you do this to me. When I told you.." She grabbed the pillow and threw it at me. And I jumped from the bed as she continued throwing pillows, pens and any stuff she got. And I ran around the room catching what she threw at me and complimented her by saying, "nice throw" which made her nose go red.
She grabbed the vase and was about to throw it at me when Amma entered.
"What is happening here? Koyal?"
She silently kept the vase down and looked apologetically at Amma. Amma came and sat beside Koyal and she saw khichidi lying on the bed stand.
"Oh so this circus was going on for the khichidi? Didn't you like it beta? I made it thinking that you'd recover soon."
"No aunty. It's nice it's just that.." and she glared at me.
"Okay then eat it fast. A few more spoons, then I'll take the bowl inside."
Koyal was forced to eat it and I was chuckling see her face! She made a face as if to say, 'I'm so gonna kill you'.
And I chuckled again.

"Hello Raj? Where are you? Come to City Hospital. Koyal met with an accident yesterday." I said. "What?! When?! How?! She was absolutely fine yesterday. Okay wait I'm coming."
Raj was on platform 9 of the railway station to go to Mumbai. When Koyal had gone to meet Raj, he had told her that he had been selected by Mr. Tigmanshu Dhulia for his next movie. And Raj was all set to go.
I brought some food from the hospital canteen and sat beside Koyal. She looked very sad and dim.
"What happened Koyal? Is everything fine?"
"Yeah." she replied with a weak smile.
Just then Koyal's Amma and Appa arrived and enquired about her and I assured them that she was fine.
It was lunch time and I suggested that everyone go and have lunch and I stay here with Koyal. After a little but's and no's the families left for lunch.
As Koyal lay on the bed, I went and sat on the couch. Just then, Raj rushed inside.
"Koyal you're okay right? I was so scared when Maddy told me that you met with an accident. I left the train and just came here. You? You can't see and cross the road properly? If you can't then get glasses!"
"Raj - I "
"Wait I didn't finish yet. If you don't care about yourself at least care about the people who love you! Think about Paro, about your dad about Maddy and about ME! Aise kaise?" he burst. By now his eyes had filled with tears and Koyal's too. A lone tear was about to drop from Koyal's eye but Raj wiped it.
"Ey Koyal. Why are you crying? Was I too rude? I'm sorry. I was pissed. But it's your fault also na?"
Koyal didn't say anything but just pulled Raj into a hug and Raj tightened the hold.
"Raj, I-- I love you. I love you so much."
"I love you too Koyal. I love you too." they broke the hug.
They looked at each others eyes and Raj captured her lips.
Raj and Koyal were holding hands and were walking on the beach together. They had come out to spend some time together.
She sat down and started drawing a heart.
"Arre Koyal, whose heart are you drawing?"
"Mine" she smiled.
Then she wrote the name RAJ in bold letters inside her heart.
"You know that you're drawing the heart in the wrong place." he chuckled. "If one wave comes it'll take my name and your heart away."
"No one can take your name from my heart." She said and placed Raj's hands on her heart.
"Raj, I'm so sorry. Because of me you lost such a nice opportunity of getting casted for the film."
"Yeah, but I got the most important person in my life."
"Excuse me sir. Here's a letter for Mr. Raj Kapoor"
"Yeah that's me. Thank you. Who's letter could this be?"
He opened the letter and read it and his face changed from confusion to surprise and then to happiness.
"Arre what happened Raj. Tell me!"
"Koyal this is Mr. Tigmanshu Sirs letter. He has given me another chance. He's called be tomorrow to Mumbai!" Raj jumped with joy.
"KOYAL!! I'm so happy." he said and pulled Koyal into a hug.
