Hey guys! I just wrote a song fic on Maddy and Koyal. Do read and tell me your views.

Lafzon se jo tha pare
Khaalipan ko jo bhare
Kuchh toh tha tere mere darmiyaan
Rishte ko kya mod doon
Naata yeh abb tod doon
Ya phir yun hi chhod doon, darmiyaan
Maddy stood leaning on the window in his room as it rained heavily.
"Maddy, finally today I'm going to tell my feelings to Raj. I'm so excited. Wish me luck na!" Exclaimed an over excited Koyal. He was happy for her and wished her luck. But.. But what about his feelings he had developed for her? Truly, he was happy that Koyal was happy but he couldn't help the pain he felt in his heart. Yes he hadn't expected anything yet he felt sad.
Benaam rishta woh, bechain karta jo
Ho naa.. sake jo bayaan, darmiyaan
He picked up the photo frame which lay on the bedside table. He looked at it which had Koyal and his photo. Their first picture together. It had been clicked by Taani, Koyal's sister when they were outside the amusement park.

He hugged the photo frame tightly to his chest and not being able to hold back his tears let them flow. He let all his emotions out which he had been able to control for long.
Aankhon mein tere saaye
Chahoon toh ho na paaye
Yaado'n se teri faasla haye
He walked on the road aimlessly. Not caring about the traffic or the people around. Nor loud honks neither people bumping into him could stop him. He went on walking through the heavy rain.
He remembered the first time he met Koyal at college. They banged into each other in the library. He was there reading books and Koyal.. Rushing and panicking to finish off her assignment. Then Maddy had helped her finish off her assignment and she had gotten an A grade. Since then he had started doing her assignments along with his and this started their journey of friendship.
Time flew. Maddy and Koyal had become the best of friends.
Jaake bhi tu na jaaye
Thehri tu dil mein haaye
Hasrat si banke kyun bhala
Kyun yaad karta hoon
Mittha hoon banta hoon
Mujhko toh laayi yeh kahaan
He remembered when Koyal had nicknamed him Maddy. Maddy was a name given by Koyal to him. And only she holds the right to call him that. Everyone else in the college called him by his name Madhavan. And if she found anyone calling him Maddy then... She was very possessive of it.

He stopped suddenly realizing where he was and turned back when he saw a truck hit a girl. The girl looked familiar. As he realized who she was he ran towards her and the only word escaped his mouth... Koyal.
Chalte the jinpe hum-tum
Raaste woh saare hain gum
Ab kaise dhoondein manzilein
Raatein hain jaise maatam
Ab toh hain din bhi gumsum
Roothi hain saari mehfilein
Maddy sat there numb on the chair outside the O.T as scenes flashed of Koyal's face drenched in blood. He was shell shocked. His Koyal lay inside the O.T in pain. She looked so pale when the doctors took her inside.
"Mr. Madhavan, there is no need to worry now. She is out of danger." The doctor said and he rushed inside to meet her. He sat down beside her, taking her hand in his.
He had nothing to say yet his every single gesture conveyed a lot of emotions.
Itna saa taana yun yaad aana
Bann jaaye aansoon bhi zubaan
He lay on the couch in hospital room. Every 15 minutes he turned to check Koyal. When he saw Koyal uncomfortable and her asking for water in her unconscious state, he immediately poured a glass of water and helped her drink it. He went close to her and gently tucked it behind her ear.

He went back to the couch and lay down and closed his eyes to sleep watching Koyal's face.
