Is Sanskaar becoming the next victim?

Today's episode showed us yet other facets of Sanskaar's character. I loved how worried he was for Shomi and how he had tears in his eyes when Ragini threatened to hurt her. He really loves his mom-in-law too. 😃 Varun really outdid himself in that scene, it was a subtle change in expression but the hurt in his eyes seemed so real! 😭 Not to mention the other confrontation scenes between Swara and him!

Also loved how he said he didn't think her sister would stoop this low, rather than saying Ragini. It was again very obvious how this battle is pretty much solely Swara's and he can walk out any moment he wants with nothing to gain or lose. I don't think he is in this journey just because of his guilt and repentance. In his mind, he loves her and will do whatever he can to support her, that's it. Even though his heart is fully committed to Swara he doesn't expect anything from her and so despite her bad attitude he will fulfill his commitment and stand by her. Isn't that what love is about? He already thinks of her as his wife and is doing what a friend, husband, and lover should do.

Based on Swara's dialog about using the right means to achieve the right results, I think Shomi will be freed before the wedding and will not be used as a bargaining chip by Ragini. SwaSan will still pretend to go ahead with the marriage because they will have faith that Laksh will come and stand with them for the truth. Little do they know...I would like to see how his falling in the river 'excuse' will play out this time. 😆 I also think what AP told Swara about not running away from the wedding will play an important role in her decision not to abandon ship even when Lakshya won't arrive in time. Sanskaar may not care for it, but Swara will (because we all know that she has her priorities messed up).

In the on location videos Swara is looking out for Laksh during the wedding, but Sanskaar has to pay attention to each step. It is pretty obvious how painful it is for him to carry out each ritual and when it is finally done he closes his eyes in pain and can't even look at her. Talk about irony: the one who is in love doesn't want to marry and is feeling tormented when doing so, while the one who isn't in love wants to marry and is too busy concentrating on other things to realize what she's asked Sanskaar to give up. Because by agreeing to give up his peace of mind and sense of right and wrong regarding marriage, Sanskaar will have given away a big part of what he believes in.

One thing I'm curious about is, when he didn't want to have this forced marriage what made him agree with Swara's decision to go ahead rather than backing out? I can bet it's not because he had a weak moment and gave in to his feelings of wanting her - Sanskaar will never do that. It could be that he had faith in her faith that Laksh would come and save the day or some other unforeseen twist is introduced.

Frankly, this marriage will be his biggest sacrifice yet and I feel sorry for him.Though it was a result of circumstances I'm sure he meant every vow and will honor them without any expectations from his wife. I am quite sure, in fact I seriously hope, that after the wedding he is going to keep his distance and give her the silent treatment. I want Swara to have a million flashbacks of his miserable and stressed face and of every time he said he loved her but didn't want to marry her like this.

I want her to feel day in day out that he's far more miserable than anyone else because of the wedding and that he is not interested in pursuing a relationship with her or expecting her to be a wife in these circumstances. I want her to remember that this wedding went through because she wanted it, and he was reluctant the whole time. There's no doubt his living hell will start after the wedding, as he would be the only one who would realize the impact of being trapped in this marriage while the other 3 are still focused on their games and accusations. For the first time, especially after today's episode, I'm beginning to think of him as a victim.

EDIT: I wanted to add that when the truth is finally out, I want Sanskaar to let Swara go amicably and try to dissolve the relationship immediately without discussing things with her. I want him to hold her to her "you go your way, I go mine" demand and to behave as if all this were the expected outcome. Not because he wants to set her free but because he wants to set himself free of this unwanted relationship forged with so much pain. That would be far more in character for Sanskaar than being a martyr. I would expect him to get back to his business and his own family, rather than trying to woo Swara. He won't try to forget her - he will keep the flame of his love burning in his heart, but will also learn to move on from her. Swara needs to do all the hard work to win him back. She has to reclaim that friendship first, which is the foundation of the relationship, and then go to the next step. I want her to announce her feelings to him in front of the world, in all her senses, to mirror what he did.

Ok, I'd better stop with expanding my wishlist. 😆

I think in the story...ragini and sanskar are the baddies but are victims...though ragini has become an unbearable charecter sanskar has maintained a positive image

But both have suffered in their love lives...but their reactions to it and the way they tackled it has made one more likeable and one more hated

Loved ur post n agree too...sply the last part abt swara and her realisation. ...i want it to happen of its own without any pressure frm any side coz thts the only way she will realise its the true thing. I want her to be tormented as much as she has tormented sanskaar knwingly or unknowingly

How is ragini a victim?? She loved and loves laksh but he never pretended to love her...yes their engagement broke twice but both times the reasons were clear...she made her love into an obsession and a deadly one at tht...I wouldn't call her a victim

Absolutely loved your post.😃

I don't think Sanskaar is the sort of person who does anything by halves. He gives his all. Unfortunately for him, he's in love with a girl who at the moment can't even think about let alone act upon his love.😔And so, poor Sanskaar is stuck in a situation where no matter which direction he goes, he will be in pain and there's nothing he can do, or will do, to solve his problem. A guy like Sanskaar could never be happy marrying the girl he loves if she doesn't reciprocate. As he said to Ragini, he isn't like her and so wouldn't forcefully marry anyone.

I would love to see Sanskaar give Swara the silent treatment. He has stood by her even though he won't really benefit from her mission of uniting her Maa-Baba, and while he is essentially the cause of her problems, it was Swara who made the fake marriage plan.🤔

Okay, having read your Edit, I have to say may your wishes come true! 😃

I liked your post.

After his confession, I love the way Sanskar talks to Swara he sounds like a husband and Swaara fights with him like a wife.

But I don't want Sanskar to be the victim. I think post wedding, Swaara will honor the relationship more than Sanskar. I think he will keep her at arms length. I do think he will want her to come to him on his terms. She has to say she wants to stay married to him. I think real angst will be the split between Laksh -Swara- Sanskar. Sanskar can't make a move because he believes Swara does not love him. Laksh cannot watch them together. Swara feeling responsible for Sanskar and cognizant of Laksh's feelings.I think they have built unique relationships. Laksh needs Swara. Swaara needs Sanskar.
I am willing to watch a brooding Sanskar. But if they turn him to whiney Laksh. I will loose interest.

I feel Sanskaar has been the bictim since day 1. He does have an issue with his anger management as we have seen in tens of incidents. Probably that streak introduced him in the path of revenge. When Swara shielded Laksh and he wanted Laksh to suffer, he put Swara in pain as well.
The day he realized his mistake it was too late. He had trained a fox who went on to outdo him in the bid for so called love. He didnt want that to happen and became victim to Ragini's betrayal. She betrayed him by unveiling his truth infront of his family to shield herself.

I like the idea that she will come to him on his terms! She can't always have things her way without considering other people's needs! 😃

wow brilliant..👏

nicely described sanskar's char in the show.loved each and every point which has shown his miserable condition.

i hate daily soap heroines becz even if supporting actor does a lot of things compare to their first love, still she want to be with their first love and i hate it.😡 can't they realize that he was the one who didn't believe her, left her in mid way, didn't support her, didn't miss a single chance to insult her, made her feel jealous..😕.she will ignore everything, becz at the end of the day he will be her first love..😆

where as the supporting actor who really loved her, always gave support and did everything to make her feel happy is all waste. she will be very thankful to him but at the end of the day she will treat him as only friend. becz as per her opinion she can't love anybody else in her life.i feel it's unfair and from my POV it is a selfish act towards him.

ps:i m assuming sanskaar as supporting actor in this show, becz i don't believe swara till she confess her love to sanskaar and realizes his all deeds and true love for her.

Agree with u..
What I predict is..after drowning in river laksh will some how accept the truth and will try to stop the marriage.
In mean time sanskar and swara are very clear to tell the truth in front of the family..even somi asked them to accept the truth..ragini will some how come to know that laksh is going to come and stop the wedding..so this psycho will make them married forcibly by telling she will harm somi...instead of letting swara ans sankar telling the truth in front of the family.
