In an industry where fortune changes hands every Friday, our stars are known to rely heavily on their intuition. Aditya Roy Kapoor is no different. Our friends on the grapevine tell us that the star has refused two big films, as he's placing all his bets on Abhishek Kapoor's adaptation of the novel Great Expectations, Fitoor. The actor was last seen in Habib Faisal's Daawat-e-Ishq opposite Parineeti Chopra, but the film didn't go down too well at the box-office.
Hence, Aditya now needs a big release to make up for the disaster that was his previous venture. Perhaps that's the reason he's so keen on Fitoor, despite it being re-shot and delayed. Our fingers are crossed and we're sure his are too.

I really like this guy.
Fitoor has to work for his sake.

Poor guy deserves more films. Maybe he needs to be less picky.

It is better for new comers to sign as many films as possible. Hopefully one of them at least would get hit and keep them in demand. If they become too choosy and bank on just one film and if that film sinks, their career will be at stake. It had happened with Urmila Matondkar, (recently Imran Khan).

Established stars can afford flops, not new comers.

Its really strange!😕
His brother Sid Roy Kapoor is such a big producer, why would Aditya have to wait for good roles? Maybe hes not that ambitious or driven and wants to take it easy?
Otherwise the other industry kids like Alia and Varun are signing every single movie that comes their way...overexposure is as bad as under.
