It's always great to be the superstar of Bollywood. Everything you touch becomes gold. People love you, throw themselves at you and swear by you even when you are wrong. But if you think it is a cakewalk to be a superstar, you are highly mistaken. You have set a standard for yourself and you have to stick to it. Any slip up will have people eating you out raw. That gives rise to stereotypes which these actors toil to break free from. Even Salman Khan is branching out from his regular slam fests and graduating to something subtle and meaningful. But we feel in recent times, it is Shah Rukh Khan whose next slate of films look interesting and refreshingly different. USP: Small town's big issues!
Films on the floor: Happy Bhaag Jayegi
What collaboration means: Rai's Raanjhanaa was easily one of the best films of 2013 which was emotional yet fun. Dhanush couldn't have asked for a better debut than this. Tanu Weds Manu gave a new identity to Kangana Ranaut while the sequel sealed her fate as the Queen of Bollywood. Now, if SRK teams up with him, this will be one electrifying combo. Rai is an expert in bringing out the nuances of small town inhabitants which will just become magnified with SRK's presence. Confirmation on this film hasn't flown in yet but we are already thrilled at the possibility!

USP: Soul-stirring cinema. Remember Parzania?
Films on the floor: Raees
What the collaboration means: Raees trailer gave us goosebumps. It's been long since we saw SRK in such an intense avatar and we loved it. He plays a bootlegger in the film. Now, playing an anti-hero comes easy to Shah Rukh. He became popular with that image only to become this fascinatingly romantic guy! Although Dholakia's first film was forgettable, Parzania shook the earth beneath us. When such a great director pairs up with Shah Rukh, Raees is what you get! This is one film which has the potential of leaving behind riches or raeesi for everyone!

USP: Light but weight-y issues!

What the collaboration means: Fan is perhaps the only film which will have a superstar playing his own fan. Talk about self obsession! But it definitely is an extraordinary idea. Maneesh Sharma has delivered some of the most endearing yet amusing love stories in the form of Band Bajaa Baaraat and Shuddh Desi Romance. If that's not all, his decision to turn producer with Dum Lagaa Ke Haishaa turned out to be golden! With Shah Rukh, his simple way of narrating relatable stories will find a starry touch to an altogether different level. And that's a lethal combo!

USP: Believable narrative
Films on the floor: SRK's film with Alia Bhatt
What the collaboration means: Shinde may be just one-film old (English Vinglish) but she gave Sridevi a comeback that many would die for. It was not only unpretentious and extremely believable, it also instilled faith of people in Sridevi. With Shah Rukh Khan, she will only get the right brawn and brain to carry out such unflattering story. She informed that the story will be all about the love between SRK and Alia which is not the usual and we can't stop wondering what she meant.
They say your choices govern your destiny and this man's choices are envious to say the least. We just can't wait to see him in these movies!
