Forget how grossly ignorant the Cvs/SP/BT are of their character integrity...

But is there not a way in India to complain about the horrible, medically inaccurate, mysogensitic thinking being shown on YHM?

I remember correctly there was an uproar on Ruhi dancing to some song...why don't the moral people try to police this?

Gan had a great thread yesterday about why this is beyond disgusting.

I personally have seen many Indian shows with a lack of ethics, but this pregnancy thing takes the cake of disgusting. From day one of C/pregnancy, things were bad & then the "sex is a miracle cure for infertility" was insensitivity at its peak, and now what BS "hope" is this?

This is more than the characters - it's the message they are sharing that's so wrong.

Forget protesting for the show to avoid tracks, protest as someone who is just disgusted.

So I just wanted to know as an NRI bc this is appalling.

Thanks for the responses! I wanted to include a few resources for you all...

Link to file a complaint (thanks to all who shared):

Link to Gan's thread ("It's just insulting to couples struggling with infertility") that has a LOT of wonderful POVs about why this is wrong (no character bashing, simply CV/SP/BT frustration): https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/ye-hai-mohabbatein/4474375/its-just-insulting-to-couples-struggling-with-infertility

---

Again - I didn't protest, and it's not my thing. But this is something that should be brought to light. Most shows in India push the borders of ethics/morality, but this show has taken it to another level. Plus, by promoting "hope"...what does SP hope to accomplish? The end of the track may be fine - but what they are showing to get there is beyond disgusting.

It's up to you whether you think it's worth your time to file a complaint, but it's one small thing you can do to ease your conscious if this is something that genuinely appalls you. The regressive nature of Indian TV won't change anytime soon, but at least this is something?

I want to know too!! does the TV industry not have a censor board for showing pathetic tracks like these? Is there only censorship for bold scenes/nudity, etc...why not for disgusting tracks like these? Where they are mocking not only infertile women, but also medicine and law??

They are making fun of medical profession
What type of doctor he is if he cannot figure out the surrogate has diabetes. I am not from medical profession but I can tell blindly if a person goes for a pregnancy test they take blood sample to see what type of risk she might be in and to test for diabetes is common because of the gestational diabetes. If they cannot get that simple thing right what are they going to show in the track.

I wish some times I have loads of money so that I can sue them for what they have done to my favorite show.

But there was a big hoopla about RD dancing to some "adult-like" song.

You can't tell me that people who can complain about that don't find anything wrong with the show right now.

It's already heart-breaking to see your favorite character destroyed, but as a human & woman - how can they go this far.

They taunted women who have to seek treatment to become pregnant
They taunted people with complex pregnancy who lose their child due to complications
They taunted a man who faced infidelity
They taunted the relationship between a man & woman in the most vile of ways. There were 100s of ways to challenge their trust or even cause a separation, but they did it the worst of ways.

hi think after watching this serial, people will be afraid of adopting surrogacy.

professional ethics have been completed destroyed.

it is pathetic and sad that this show is directed and writted by women.
so negative and harsh in thinking.seems highly frustrated in their life.

i am shocked even shobha kapoor never guides ekta and its associates.

Tweet it to Narendra Modi and Information Broadcasting/women's welfare ministry...like you said the message in this track is unethical and if yoy think about it...it promotes forced impregnation...Ishita did not consent to this union of her egss with Raman's sperm...it's violation of a woman's basic human rights.

Firstly I feel TV Industry badly needs censorship.
There r shows which r showing witch craft, Nagin n Daayan stories spreading superstitions in the society.

N then we have serials like YHM making mockery of serious issues like Infertility, surrogacy, rapes, molestations etc. On top of that they misguide gullible people about legalities involved in Surrogacy, showing Medical and Law profession in bad light. 🥱

I just know of one website that takes complaints for things airing in these shows. I had used it when they showed Mihika marrying her Molestor. M not sure if they seriously look into the matter or not. Anyways if someone interested can try, heres the link-
