welcome 🤗 don't be silent again 😉..bang on post 👏👏

Coming to todays's episode. I think this was a great way to show that modern people like Viplav can show humanity and decency while religious people like the pandit who devote their lives to God and religion can be so inhumane and indecent. Speaking of religious people, what kind of devotee like DT holds a party with music and has three girls dance for him and his son. Society doesnt have a problem with that?

well firstly, DT is not actually god devotee for me...its his profession only...a devotee can never lie on name of god...but proves are there...like the one u mentioned...any normal guy or person also tired to skip such things (except for high class families)...but DT , head of a priest family had it...the girls...people don't object this...coz they fear DT..

I would like to ask everyone here if they were a boy and a girl looked dead and cold to you, would you not freak out and panic. Especially if it's someone you knew. I know my heart would pound like crazy and my palms would sweat continuously. Especially since I'm not a medical professional

well definitely..no doubt on that..

Also, I don't know if anyone here has been in a jeep but I have a jeep and so I'm speaking from experience if you drive a jeep like Viplav's that's comepletely open then even if its hot and humid outside, air does hit you and if you're completely wet the way Dhani was then you'd feel cold as soon as that air hit you regardless of the heat and humidity and especially at night. So I would definitely rule out the the idea of using his jeep.

i didn't knew of this.though what vipu did was wrong, but he was way panicked to think for anything...much evident with his reaction...

As for Viplav choosing the mandir then all I have to say is when people are in a problem and can't figure things out then they often seek refuge with God. They feel much better in a place of worship like a mandir.

well true...if there would have been any doctor there, he would have done the same if he had no other option...before concerning of the place, life matters...yeah viplav did wrong but his intentions were not...the person accurately to be blamed are those cheap mentalities who find these things their fun stuff..

I'm amazed that some would want Viplav to go into a room and change Dhani's clothes. I mean that pandit would film Viplav going in there with Dhani in a white sari and then both coming out with Dhani in a red saree, completely changed. That would obviously worsen the whole situation in peoples eyes about what happened behind closed doors. Atleast the people who will see the video will just see Viplav looking away while changing her clothes not a man and a woman coming out of locked room. And Dhani would be in even greater shock if she woke up in a locked room with just her and Viplav.

bang on 👏

I'm surprised someone earlier said a dignified girl would rather die of cold than be undressed by a male. Again speaking from experience I was in a similar situation where there were no female doctors so I had no choice but to be shown to a male doctor who saw my body. I did not feel like I should kill myself nor did my parents who were with me. I also did not feel that I was no longer a dignified girl nor did my parents and we are muslims who don't show anything except for our face and hands. But I do feel for Dhani who was awake one second and woke up to feeling herself bare naked with a saree draped over herself and a man she barely knows claiming to have undressed and dressed her. How invaded and vulnerable she must feel.

well differ here...doctors are different...so such things are not objectionable on their POV...and yeah a girl will prefer to die...not coz she don't value her life or life is less precious...but only because of the society...the society never let such a girl live peacefully...these things can be moved on in metropolitan cities but not everywhere..saying specifically for india...in place like banaras, it won't be accepted and life will be made hell for her...preferring to die is better when one is being taunted with every step out of her house...we say ignore society...but its not that easy...

Finally, it's amusing that all are lashing out on Viplav like Dhani even when we know what actually happened and what Viplav's intentions were. We are failing to see the bigger deed at hand. Viplav saved her life. He could have easily left her there to die like the pandit and many other Banarasis. I feel bad for Viplav who was so freaked out and scared only to be slapped by the very person who drove him crazy the whole night. I really hope Dhani sees the video and realizes that Viplav didnt even look at her. We should all be lashing out and thrasing that sick pandit and his sick co. They're the criminals not Viplav. Viplav made a rash mistake and mistakes can be forgiven but what that damn pandit did was a crime which cannot be forgiven.

agree but dhani can't be blamed for it know...think of her situation...on opening her eyes, she sees herself in changed cotes that too by a boy..her reaction was justified.

I think people who are watching with their family should openly criticize the society who condemn a girl for having her clothes changed by a man when she was dying. We need to change the closed mindset that reputation is above life. Life is above all. Let's take Dulari for example, a mother of a 20 year old innocent girl. She will be shocked and miserable but she would eventually overcome it and help her daughter overcome it as well. However, had Viplav left Dhani to die what would Dulari have done. She would not have been able to overcome her daughter's death all her life. She would not be able to bring back her daughter from the dead.

nothing can be changed...see tomorrow's epi u will get to know...

No offense to anyone here. I'm merely sharing my thoughts after being encouraged by the healthy discussions this episode has created amongst us. I feel there will be many more episodes after this where we will get to discuss our views regarding the character's actions vs society norms. Today, everyone's thoughts on Viplav's, Dhani's, that sick pandit's and society's actions have been damn interesting.

Keep up the buzz!

Sorry for the long post.

Hi and thanks for the warm welcome!

There's no way I can be silent with the non stop drama going on. To top it off, CVs are confusing us with the new promo. Lol, the less said about that buddha and that pandit the better. In fact, I don't think we should even give him such a holy title.

As for Vips, I just wish CVs didn't drag the scene for so long. The second time I watched I actually came to understand that his action was wrong because of how long he took to just move her inside and change her saree.

And there is no way, I'd blame Dhani. Poor girl just woke up to it. She must feel so freaked out and constantly womdering what really happened. Her mind must be repeating, "What did he do to me." I mean we saw what happened and we know the male lead and all that but what if something like that were to happen to us with someone we barely know. In real life, we wouldn't trust a single word that person would say and be freaked out just like Dhani.

Usually female leads always have a friend or someone who they could rant to or share their thoughts with but Dhani is so alone. In today's episode I felt so bad that she went home and just silently pondered and wept over what happened. She's keeping it all inside. It must hut her so much to not be able to even talk about it to anyone.

To me doctors aren't different. If a person is cold and shivering and unconscious you can't possibly wait for a medical proffesional to come and change their clothes. And who knows what's going on in their mind as they're looking at your body. Just because they're a doctor doesn't mean they will have decent thoughts in their mind. Deceny and innocence comes from the heart not from a license.

And I understand that in places like Banaras people are a part of society. Here in the US, you don't even know your neighbor's name unless they introduce themselves. But in places like India, you can't escape society. I saw today's episode and it was really disturbing. You know, people are affected a lot by what they see. India was never easily influenced the way it is now. Even under the British rule, women for example, stuck to their traditional clothing. Nowadays, Indian girls and women wear western fashion because of what they see in the media, on TV, social networking and all that. That's why instead of showing people what they already know, like backward thinking people like Kanak and DT, they need to introduce new kind of characters like a mother who is educated and posseses noble thoughts. They should also show us pandits who defy society and the rules for made for widows. That would make a positive impact on viewers. It would introduce a different mentality and pave way for a new, sensible and more human approach to problems. People would learn to speak well with others regarless of their class and identity. No more cheap talk like Kanak's. People adapt to what they see and if they don't see it how can they adapt to it.

I think I rambled a lot. Sorry, lol.

Yeah, my mistake. I didn't really mean all. I know some who were strongly defending his actions but when I rewatched the episode I myself felt that he took too long to change her clothes. He could've been in a hospital with that amount of time. Oh well. Raat gayi baat gayi. I don't really think CVs had a strong purpose behind what happened that night besides showing the red saree symbolism. But once again, I admit I exaggerated in including everybody and apologize for that. I genuinely didn't think about my wording. Yeh dimaag bhi na.

No need to apologize as my intention was not to put ur words down but to point out that there r many who understood that not every1 is clever as a fox in desperate situations. When it's someone's health that is ur biggest concern, then many a times ppl's brain get clouded. It's natural! Not every soap has to follow the ever smart heroic icon for the lead.

Btw u r total Adorbs. So soon u Apologized :) u must've a very clean heart.

Thank you. I'm so embarrased lol. 😳 But yeah, not every hero has to be a clever one, totally agree. And our Viplav toh was so confused and troubled that night. When he yelled at Tanya that his family nor hers bothered to ask him about his engangement(I think he threw a red bangle that was in his hand to the ground) I could sense how bad he felt about that. He's usually so nonchalant but he took that very seriously and personally. He really doesn't like people to make decision s for him and for that matter nobody does, especially something as serious as marriage. I'd be very upset and highly suffocated if I was forced to put a ring on someone I don't want to marry. You know, that lump choking you in the throat kinda feeling.

U shudn't b a silent reader for this forum. U understand Viplav well. As u said that he was already in an uneasy environment and then the whole Dhani thing the same night. Viplav was so devastated that he said to Tanya that this was his worst night ever. No girl or boy shud get their engagement as a surprise as if it was their birthday party 😆

Lol at the birthday party comparison. Really, what was Tanya thinking? Pyaar sach much mein logon ko paagal bana deta hain. 😆 Like you said about Viplav, he was really devasted. His eyes glistened the whole time he was at the engagement. But he was strong, mature and selfless enough to not create a tamasha for the sake of his sister. To top it off Dhani's problem. He had explaining to do to her and then when he got home, some more explaining to do. He was pleading for support from someone but everybody turned away.

Btw, I think most of us here like to analyze Viplav's character the most as it's the only one in the show that's showing more development and growth than others. His interaction with everyone is so entertaining.

This is off topic but I just loved the way he said "Tumhara Raakshas." Aww, he's already labeled himself as hers.
