Personally I have no qualms over the issue of the changing sari... Girl, boy, open, closed... This has no bearing when it comes to saving a life.
The issue I have is it needs to be justified. In this case... It was not justified.

Were they in a place medical help was not easily accessible... No... It would have taken him a similar amount of time to get her to the hospital that it took to change her clothes and plead to her to wake up.

Was the weather cold... No... Before you ask, how do I know... The fiance's clothing tells me how warm it was.

Before changing her clothes... Did he consider the following
- cover her with his warm top
- take her to the hospital

What if she had choked when he gave her water? What was the sense in draping a dry cloth over a wet cloth... How would that help increase body temperature? The cloth would still be wet. What was the sense in placing her in the open, were there is supposedly cold winds.. Esp when the inner temple would be wamer?

Let us be realistic... I see a person... Unconscious, wet, freezing... The hospital is fifteen minutes away by car... What would I do? Look for a change of clothes and change their clothes or rush the person to the hospital.

Now if I was camping in the woods, or up a mountain top... Where it would take hours to get medical help... Then my changing the persons clothes would make sense... It would be justified.

Society would not question it, were it justified. This happens in the world. When we are in that situation of life and death.. or when women give birth... Nobody raises an issue over the nakedness of a person or the sex of the person. Even the person is not affronted over it.

The reason here, this issue has been raised because there was no justification on Viplav's part to change dhani's clothes. Dhani was not dying...Cvs gave us a half baked story... Let us just accept it and not try to justify it.

Thank you for supporting life over izzat. As Badi Amma once said, "Until women are enemies to each other our problems wont stop." something like that. We've already seen how Dhani's mom and Rajlaxmi ignored her pain and thrashed her for being colored. I expect the same here. I expect Dulari to cry over her miseries and condemn Dhani. And we've seen how disgustingly Rajlaaxmi and that other lady ignored Dhani's cries, her beizzati and her bloodied feet and told her off for not being able to bring home money. I am expecting more sick remarks from her after she comes to know what happened. Honestly, if women were to join together they would be a much more powerful force then that sick pandit simply because if other women like Vidhi for example took a stand their husbands and children would automatically take the same stand too. Then it would be a battle between society and that pandit.

Lol this is obviously just a stupid drama the Cvs created for more drama. No doubt about that.

As for the weather, I've seen girls in winter wearing short skirts but that wouldn't mean it's hot outside. And besides the fiance wasn't wet nor laying in water. And from Viplav's point of view Dhani didn't faint in front of him. He saw her there and he didnt know how long she had been out. And I understand and respect what you would do in his situation but I would first look for a change of clothes if I'm not aware how long the person was out. That's just what I would do. But in the end this whole thing was unrealistic and plain stupid. The whole setting, a guy who was at his engangement one second is seen at a mandir the next and find a girl he know unconscious, a pandit recording. It's all very unrealistic not even worth debating over.

I feel though that this will put Dhani into the limelight now. So far she hasn't had a role to play in the show. In fact none of the widows do when the show is all about them. Instead of this soap serial drama. I would be happy if they had showed Vidha solving the widows' problems together. Like help them reconnect with their family. Or atleast Cvs could show one of them trying to get a job or trying to study or go to school. I was looking forward to Dhani joining Vidhi's NGO and becoming an inspiring woman. Her eyes while Vidhi speaks for them shows just how much she yearns to be like Vidhi. I mean it's been a month and we dont know the backstory of even one of the widows. Badi Amma's story seems interesting. Her son is a lawyer and she's in an ashram. Why? And the rest of the widows. Who knows how they landed there. Why did someone who is street smart and so headstrong like Rajlaxmi choose an ashram in Banaras? Rajlaxmi and Suvarna are very young. Where are there parents? Do they have siblings? What about their husband's families? Were some kicked out or did some run away? It's all things viewers can relate to. I'd also like them to show one of the old widows dying and how society handles the funeral of a widow. It'd be very interesting to see how Safed gang deals with that.
I certainly didn't come here to watch guy causes girl problems girl hates him, guy solves girl's problem's girl likes him. It's happening over and over again.

Super explanation about the situation.

Your right dulari will make dhaani to realize
that viplav is right.

And that padit 🤬

Thank you. I really hope Dulari stands up for her daghter and does not condemn her for the sake of society. Im expecting Badi Amma to be reasonable and sensible but not Dulari honestly. I'd feel bad for Dhani at such a young age her mother can't provide her the protection and support she deserves. I'd hate my mother if she worried more about society norms rather than my agony and embarrasment of being exposed to a man. I'd want her to immediately embrace me with her warmth and soothe me saying it'll be okay. it'll be okay. Honestly, imagine how tear-eyed the mothers who see a scene like that between mother and daughter. Dulari should be used to introduce a new image in serials. A shield for her daughter.

Thanks for such a sensible post, you basically put into words what I wanted to say about the whole thing. Although I personally would be mortified waking up to that, after the initial shock I think I'd be glad to be alive rather than wishing I was dead.

I live in the UK where something like this may not be seen by 'society' as such a big deal but I can understand the feeling. A few months back actually a lady went into labour in our city centre in the middle of the street in between shopping. So a few people gathered around her to give her some privacy & gave their coats to lie down on but it was a stranger who delivered her baby somehow while the ambulance arrived. Are people suggesting this lady should have let herself & her baby come to harm rather than let some strangers see her like that? Here it was in the news & those people were seen as heroes of sorts & I agree they were as they helped a stranger in their time of need.

And Viplav is not even a stranger to Dhani; seeing someone he cares about in that situation, I don't blame him for not thinking ahead & acting on impulse. People can say all they like that he should have done this or that & he himself may think the same later in hindsight but in that moment no-one knows how they themselves would behave - if they'd freeze & do nothing or think clearly & logically. Honestly you can't think clearly when a loved one is in danger, I know that from experience so I don't blame him at all. I'm more mad at the disgusting pandit who didn't even think of helping but instead got his own sick gain out of the situation!

I hope Dhani's mum will support her. I feel badi amma will be sensible about the issue but not sure about dulari..

Regarding girls wearing short skirts during winter... If u watch their body language... U would realise they are feeling cold... Here there was no body language from the other actors to indicate that it was cold...

Anyways let it be... We definately agree it was for Trp drama.

One thing I must say... Had cvs justified viplav's actions properly... There would have been no discussions over this.

I personally am quite disappointed in the shape this drama is taking... Was expecting something different.

I too was expecting Nidhi and the NGO to play a stronger role in the widows lives.

A widow's life is as it is filled with strife. I just don't get why cvs need to add extra drama... It is takin away from their main strife.

Examples

- the Internet and scanning of documents... Why could they not get in touch with Nidhi and ask her for advice?
- loosing the email drama
- the flowers for the garlands drama

These were so not needed. It took away from the main issue... But was probably great for trp.

Another issue I have is the imbalance... When there is a problem you have even badi ammi asking Dhani what to do next... She is a kid! It looks so silly.

I was hoping for a balance in the ashram... I wanted an educated widow there too... It should have both... Educated and uneducated... Both following the strictures society has placed... Both question those strictures. I don't want it showing that education means you don't follow strictures society has placed... Coz some strictures are good for you.

Rajlaxmi is not wrong, just the way she goes about it is wrong... I wish it was balanced with somebody questioning and expressing their frustrations in the right manner. Because of the way she goes about, the questions she raises, which are correct are ignored.

I too was expecting backdrop stories about the widows... But nothing so far.

It is a beautiful concept, but is dealt mediocrely. The writing is weak. In fact I was not surprised with the last episode. I was just surprised with the forums reaction.

I have been dying to share my disappointment over this show... Thank you and sorry for going off topic.

Yes, I too have noticed no one is venting out their frustrations with the way the story is taking course. I mean the ashram case hasn't been solved yet and already we're getting more drama. It's so ridiculous. I was expecting to see stories and real life sufferings of widows not masaledar drama. As for Rajlaxmi she isn't wrong soemtimes but her words are definitely wrong. She says such stuff with a double meaning that gives a wrong angle to things such as linking Dhani with Viplav. Then again, its in their nature. That's how the thought process of such ladies work. Ladka ladki akele toh bas, baat ban gayi.

And no, please don't apologize. I'm the one who went off topic in the first place. 😆

Thanks for reading. Not everyone has experienced a near death situation so they dont understand how scary and terrifying it czn be. You just don't care about anything but getting out of that misery and coming out alive.

I live in the US and I know this wouldnt be such an issue here either rather people would pay attention to the bigger deed and see that a life was saved. Had that pregnant lady been in Banaras they probably would leave her on the streets and if a man went to help her they would have condemned both of them.

Dulari had better support her daughter. Had Viplav left here there she would have drowned and her body would never be found or another man could've found her and who knows what he would have done to her. Not ever man is a decent fella.
