Koyel, my bone to pick is not that Kabir didn't tell Ananya the truth, its that he felt he could be in a relationship with her, get engaged to her, probably even marry her while all the while lying to her. If he felt he couldn't tell her the truth, he should've kept away. For me, this goes against the very grain of Kabir's character and what we've been told about him so far. This secret that he was hiding, though he may have been justified in doing what he did and also keeping it from Ananya for the fear of her and her family's safety, does not absolve him from the responsibility of being frank and candid in his relationship with her. And what rankles me is that till the time the threat came in the form of the email that outed it all, he did nothing actively to reveal the truth to her.

I have already asked this question, Kabir's conscience would never allow him to take this relationship forward without coming clean ...CV's really have made such a mess out of this twist, now I hope they can redeem this track and still execute it properly.

although Rajeev is such a brillian actor, my heart goes out to kabir.

If the reason for not disclosing the truth was as flimsy as this, then Kabir is surely to be blamed. The way he was talking to Tarini that his hands are tied, viewers were made to think that there's a real big secret coming out. Everyone racked their brains. Even I felt that there's something more to it that it meets the eye. Ultimately it turned out to be the normal, expected one. Kabir could've well informed her in one of those good moments when Ananya could've analysed and agreed to it. His excuse to Laxman is that he was worried her life would be in danger. When he was with her what made him think so? Now that she has left him, its all the more dangerous for her life. Yes, the whole track has been messed up. Hope the creatives have something up their sleeves to redeem their credibility.
