So finally guys we know the truth! I am glad cvs kept it simple. A very well-etched out and quite a believable scenario. And I even don't see a family angle here. Even if Monu wasnt Kabirs nephew but any random kid, I would always want Kabir to save the kid and abandon the case. To sacrifice the life of a kid for a person who would never come back to life can be a stupid thing to do. By writing that article and getting one of the goons arrested Kabir already did his best for Mr. Kashyap. And if he would have went to do more what all he would have been left with was probably three dead people in his house or a set of parents mourning the death of their kid. How can anybody do this? That too for a stranger? No one can...not even us. Rather after knowing the truth I feel so proud of Mr. Sharma and his love! 😳 And I am sure this time he will finally get justice for Mr. Kashyap and prove to Ananya that he is still the same Kabir whom she hero-worshiped for being her father's guardian angel.
Anyways coming to my post, I know guys she is real but sadly she is the most disappointing character in this show. Yes I am talking about THE MRS ANITA KASHYAP!! In a world where we are embracing the idea of strength of womanhood Anita comes across as the biggest weak link in Ananya's life. And I have felt this not just in these days but from always, specifically from the day when Ananya had lost her job and what all Anita worried for was how the expenses of the family will be taken care of. There are a few questions I wish someone could answer about Mrs. Kashyap and hence make me understand that why she is so highly or why her opinion is so important in anything?
1) Why didn't she ever work or became independent? - I mean its not bad to depend on your daughter for meeting the expenses of the family but for a woman whose husband was missing since 8 years and who had two kids to take care of, I would have loved to see her as an independent woman who had her own share of struggles in making her kids what they are today. Only then all her taunts or this attitude would have been of any meaning.
2) Why didn't she go behind Sudhir's truth? - Afterall she was the wife! Kabir was a stranger still he did so much for Mr. Kashyap. Because of his article Sudhir was given the benefit of doubt and bailed out, basically his case got a new lease of life in his favor only because of Kabir. It was because of Kabir that one of the murderers was caught by police. But what exactly did Mrs Kashyap do to prove Sudhir innocent? What exactly did she do to find about his whereabouts? Just send her daughter to become a journo and find out the truth? That too in a city like Delhi. And she even expects Ananya would come out unscathed out of this mess WOW! 😆
3) How could she expect Ananya to chase Sudhir's murders now? - I mean we are debating over whether Kabir was right to hide the truth from Ananya or not despite the fact that he did it for Ananya's safety only but no one questions this woman's idea of encouraging her daughter to go and chase those culprits who actually murdered her father 8 years ago!! Sorry but this is not a motherly emotion...period! No explanations needed. Any mother would explain her daughter (atleast for formality sake) to not pursue such a dangerous case as what all they will get by digging up buried skeletons now? The people who had the power to kill her dad just imagine what all they can do to Ananya??? Something that can leave her battered for life. Something even worse than death!! But the woman actually had the audacity to ask her daughter that would she go against her fiancee in proving her dead father innocent. So basically at this moment Ananya's safety, her feelings, her marriage, her future, her whole life can go to hell in front of proving Mr. Kashyap innocent - The same Mr. Kashyap about whom Anita would easily believe that he is missing or dead as and when a new person informed her about this and even accept it and happily move on 😆
4) How could she not see through her daughter's pain? - I mean not even for a second did she hug Ananya and try to console her. Dude her engagement got broken? She is shattered and what all you ask is this shit?? Not even once Anita tried to explain to Ananya that atleast listen to Kabir once and hear his side of the story. It took her no time to break her daughter's alliance with a man who actually was ready to sacrifice his life for her daughter. Who saved her son from a drug case and who was the only one who actually cared to support her husband at one point. She called him a coward and threw the ring at him. Is it so easy to see your daughter's marriage getting broken? Is it so easy to endanger your daughter's life like this without yourself doing anything or taking any risk. If a kid like Armaan can understand that Kabir should be given a chance to explain himself, why cant a woman who has seen so many adversities in life???
I am sorry to say but Anita comes across as a highly selfish and delusional person to me. Apart from these in past she did many other mistakes too - She never tried to know the full truth from Kabir and allowed KaYa to carry on with their relationship without knowing why Kabir got divorced...a mom can never do this!!
She always kept her children in dark about Sudhir's suicide story. I wish she had told it to Ananya atleast when she decided to become a journo...kam se kam Ananya wont have lived in the impression that her dad is missing. Knowing about the suicide could have helped Ananya go a step closer to her dads truth. I must say Ananya needs to marry Mr. Sharma asap...she is very unsafe in the Kashyap house.
