I feel Azaad will rescue her and possibly discover that he can control his urges with her.

Possibly like twilight after Edward saved Bella and she started putting things together and realised who he was. She wasn't scared though. I feel the same may happen with Mahira. It's possibly her who would approach him than the other way round.
