er.. didn't ismail say something about it during the ghazal episode? about what poonam's father did when poonam was very small.. i didn't get that part.😕

I think it is probably posted elsewhere in the forum, but here is the story. Poonam's father died when her mother was two months pregnant with her. So her mother had to raise Poonam as a single mother.

I would really appreciate if we do not discuss anyone's mother in this forum. Lets not try to find out the personal lives of these contestants.

Sorry, I did not know about that rule. That was the information they gave in the episode when Rakesh Roshan was one of the guest judges so I thought it was okay to discuss. Did not mean to offend anyone.:(

Well said Appada. Why would we need to know anyones personal lives?Its their singing that matters.

@author, there have been many mention of it in the previous episodes.Simply go back and watch them all if you have to know..
