I find him to be a natural actor, even with such a highly charged dramatic mandir scene, he did not once go overboard, and the last scene between Miland and his father, Shabbir arguebly gave his best performance to date.

Totally agree! It's when he suddenly stood up, turned his back on Mishraji and squeaked (bad choice of word but ah well) that it's over between him and Prachi... It was a brilliant performance, I think that was his strongest by date as Milind. How could he be so good? I wonder how many takes they had for that scene.
Agree with both of you.. I especially loved his scene with baba.. He was heart broken, guilty, scared how baba would take the truth, confused whether to say the complete truth to himor not... Thew way he started the conversation hunching down in front of baba was almost child like.. It was top notch performance from him yesterday. It made me wonder again and again why this talented actor was never a lead before..
