Kaajjal was a more mature family drama with Romance Laced around!! It cettainly should have been 9 pm.Inspite of being at 8 pm it got some consistant TRps till the adi track...after that it lost veiwership only to reach 0.9-1 at DK's marriage.After the news of apu leaving came and everyone just waited for the show To end!!
Now when kaajjal had this re-incarantion crap it could have been changed to the 8 pm slot.But I guess they didnt take the 9 pm one cause KBc was to start in a few months.But whatever it is ....The show deserved a better prime time slot!! 😛

I agree with Aditi and Sharmii, If Kajjal was given a 9pm slot it would definitely done much better than the 8pm time slot. It had a fantastic pair and it had a different storyline . The 8 pm slot is more for the teenagers and young lot. because kids have to sleep early and working crowd come home around that time or housewives got to get dinner ready by that time. So only the younger lot have really the time to watch an 8 pm slot. Besides, Apu is more for a prime time actor. Inspite of all this, the serial did better than any other Sony serials.😛 Now the current actors in Kajjal fit into this 8pm slot for teenagers, but then its not a different show, its a reincarnaiton track which will always be compared to its original Kajjal storyline and original pair !

I agree Nimmo, even I can't understand this funda of balaji serials having high TRPs. ! Whoever I come across don't have good things to say about those serials and even if like Ekta's says the lower strata of society do love to watch these types of serials, I wonder how is it that these people love to watch the same horrendous stuff again and again. i.e umpteen marriages and remarriages, extra-marital affairs, marrying for revenge, one-night stand, rapes, illegitimate children, miscarriages, every relationship having a triangle, etc. etc. That way our Kajjal was completely different ! 😛

oh i have the answer!i think it is becuz lost of buddhas and buddies in India like watching nice/innocent bahus jus like my grandma she love Kasauti zinda kyi and Kkusum(too bad kksum is over).but newyz all of my neaighbours in india <3 watching Kggk,Kskbt,...etc in my opinion i thiink i m gettin tirred of ssas-bahus serials its gettin boring now!ektha has been making these stupid saas-bahus shows for wut more then 4 or 5 yrs?cant she think of anything else like DIL MIL GAYA!its so damn gd and funnie unlike "BALAJI'S SHOWS!"
