Mona Singh was having sleepless nights over hosting Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2. The actress, who made Jassi a household name, was nervous as she has to host the show without a script.

Mona, who is not yet a seasoned hostess, is hesitant about her ability to pull off an impromptu act in front of the camera. That's when popular hostess and Jhalak… participant Mini Mathur came to Mona's rescue.

Mona says, "I was tense as this is first time I am hosting a show like Jhalak… Moreover, there is no script except for the lines that I mouth at the beginning and end of the show. But, I have to think of what I will say after the participants finish performing and the judges give their opinion. I have no script and hence have to observe everything closely. It's unnerving as I have to talk spontaneously."

"However, all the participants were very supportive and encouraged me to give my best," she adds.

Mini Mathur who is an expert at hosting shows, readily passed on some expert tips to a nervous Mona. "Mini insisted that I should be myself, pay attention to the vibes on the sets and act accordingly," Mona says.

Mona also received an SMS from Mini on the first day of shooting for the show. The SMS read 'Chak de phatte! Good luck, Mona.'

Wowww I m sure Mini will give good tutions to Mona on anchoring 😛 and in turn Mona can give some valuable tips to Mini on how to win a reality dance show 😉 😛 ...

no wonder i was thinking that only that mini would have given mona some tips abt anchoring and can rakshanda she is brilliant too and archana is also well versed with it.

mini is the ideal person to give tips on anchoring a reality show...shes a natural...she ha done a brilliant job on II the last 3 seasons...hosting n gelling with the contestants....she is a sweetheart
